Way to reinforce that stereotype guys!
@Soapkid
Lara Croft's breast...hahahahaha
Honestly guys, no offense, but this site is meant to entertain and inform. The people that work on entertaining and informing others deserve to have their work viewed. People have seemed to enjoy these countdowns based on the degree level on N4G and the conversations they stir up between readers.
So if you don't want to read them, don't read them.
thanks,....have a bubble.
yeah, and it should have fake wood paneling on it in honor of the 2600.
If you don't want to read it, then don't read it. Pretty simple.
This is a perfect example of what happens when you get SO BIG that it is not about being honest anymore, it is about keeping friends in the industry. As soon as you let that happen, your cred. goes right out the door.
Have a bubble Jman.
Have a bubble Mr. Foley.
this guy should apply to be on jackass.
No, I believe that is called putting things into perspective. What you just posted above is a desperate cry for attention.
That is just the point though, if Madden is so much better, then why eliminate competition? The POINT is that there should be choice for gamers, this is not about which game is better, it is about allowing the option to try both, or several for that matter.
have to agree with you there.
anyone else notice that you can not crouch in the game? This makes shooting from behind an obstacle and popping out fairly predictable. You are always going to be popping out high and on your feet. It would have been nice to be able to crouch....
Oh, and just for the heck of it...when you are high above your enemies in the game fire a bullet into the air and listen as they shoot aimlessly without even so much as a visual of where you are at for 5 minutes straight. They will pr...
Bathyj,
I understand what you are saying. Personally I don't like to bash developers regardless of how the game ends up because they bust thier butts to try and deliver the best game they can. It is lack of funds and or lack of access to top tier talent that usually does most shops in. Competition is still in this industry.
That extends to the media covering the games as well. I think Josh at Ripten did his best to give his honest opinion by walking the fine line...
You are so right! god forbid he say anything but the game is great buy it now! Any and all negative or remotely negative comments should be thrown out because you played a demo...sounds logical.
The bottom line is that he said he would be first in line to buy it, meaning he enjoyed it, but a writers responsibility is to also share with their readers the things they didn't like or were not completely sold on, etc. If you guys can't bear to hear anything but positive information,...
BathyJ,
If you don't think companies hype up games, then what do you think their PR departments are for?
When a writer says a game is hyped, he doesn't mean they have commercials on TV and the radio. There are two ways to hype things. A) hype it to the general public via TV, print, etc..and B) hype it to the press. What I believe he meant is that it was hyped to the press via press releases written by the PR firms etc.
Nostra-
No it wasn't, i agree. He gave his thoughts and ultimately said that he believes it is going to be a great game. What more can you ask for?
what language are you speaking in?
maybe all that funky line breaking you are doing made you forget the rest of what he said...
"there are a few places where cliff faces or running water tend to look a bit plastic-like. This isn’t a deal-breaker, but it’s disappointing nonetheless."
You conveniently left out the part where he said that it wasn't a deal breaker.
I agree, all this does is reinforce the stereotype that people label gamers with. It is unfair as some of us actually do carry on normal relationships and know how to treat women with respect. She did not ask for this and she definitely does not deserve this.
