AAA games will be released in a timely manner when they own 100% of the industry, that's their strategy.

Did they say who is the developer? That's the most important question.
VR is a also a risk, MS is the one playing it safe, they buy out big publishers, and push for subscription for stable income so they don't need to take risk each game.
To answer the title, it is because........ of articles like this keep popping up to tell people not to like it.
I see a lot of people requesting that, what is the purpose of it? Why not pull out your phone and do whatever you need on browsers there? Genuine question.
Either way, I just want a simple interface where I can find games that I own easily. XBox UI is a little distracting.
And to be fair, PSN store UI is very bad as well, super hard to find what you want. Searching for a game through the PS Store search on browser or app made me want to pull my hair off, for example, searching for "destiny 2", it shows you all expansions and microtransactions stuff before you can find the base game, which doesn't make sense. Base...
For some reason when I use the GamePass app to remote install, it keeps saying it can't find a linked console, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't, is it just me? I followed the on-screen instruction already. Any tips on what I should check?
The problem is, then some lazy gamers would keep skipping updates and then complain when the controllers are not working correctly. I understand it can be frustrating if you for whatever reason doesn't want to update though.
Being nice lol, they had to or it probably can't pass anti-competition laws. Sony is also under zero obligation to not do something to keep CoD on PlayStation longer. It is just business.
@masterfox
wtf are you talking about? what remember what quality is? which publishers produce high quality games as consistent as Sony studios? Are you saying Halo Infinite is an example of what high quality is? So games like Spiderman, God of War, TLOU, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon... needs to learn from it? I am very confused.
Desperation is spending 70 billions to buy the whole publisher.
XBox all the way to the top? Seriously? Top of what? Top of the lowest of number of quality games produced per dollar spent chart?
While I miss MGS, I don't want Konami to earn a dime more after what they did to Kojima.
The game just needed to be fun, why does it has to do something we've never seen before?
It looks unique enough to me, not saying it will be good for sure, but also don't see why we need an article to say why it will suck way before it releases.
If it is more readily available I would have gotten one already, but when I see the delivery date is end of year, it is much easier to control my impulse.
Then don't pay $80, problem solved.
Because at this point, Microsoft doesn't care about losing money, they just want market share, just like what Netflix did many years ago. Once they dominate, they will start increasing the price, make sure people are from the same address, no more gold to game pass conversion...etc
This game is a remake like how demon's soul was a remake, like how shadow of the Colossus was a remake.
And if review scores are based on price too then are all $10 games 10/10?
Except Halo Infinite is crap
