It's not about quality. It's about brand name appeal. Microsoft wants AKB for their brand names that have proven sales records over very long periods of time. See pokemon as another example: Sells like hot cakes, but it has nothing to do with the quality of the games. Pokemon and COD got very lucky being at the right place at the right time.
They really gave Pokémon the best switch game award over XC3..
As much as I agree with certain series like EA sports games and COD getting a lot of flack, Pokemon takes the cake for deserving the most flack but receiving the least.
That plus the hivemind think the writing will be bad based off of a few short non contextual snippets of dialogue.
They're just as lazy, but they don't have their heads up their own asses.
And once again the most overrated gaming publication strikes again. 6s and 7s for everyone! Now queue the gamers thinking that means they're prestigious. I call it lazy and conceded.
I really hope this means Dissidia Duodecim will get a console remaster since there’s been some focus on PSP remasters lately from SE. Altus too is porting a PSP game to consoles in P3P.
Will be interesting to see the completion rate of this game on Xbox as well as the completion of the first dungeon.
The problem is that COD as a brand name is too big. It doesn’t even have anything to do with quality, so making the argument of “well why doesn’t Sony just make a game to compete with COD” is just dumb. That same question can be asked right back at Microsoft.
I hear that it does have great combat which is interesting because when you look at the reviews it almost makes you think how much the reviewers are putting stock into things that a lot of other games either don't have or do poorly but get excused from.
I know Breaking Free and Your Ocean is from NEO: TWEWY at least.
That’s because you’re actually sensible and probably understand her monologue describing the situation she’s in is far too little info to discern anything about the overall story and even actual dialogue. Which of course when she was saying those things it wasn’t dialogue lol, it was a monologue until knowledge of another character at that time arises. It sounded like an advertisement of the game and nothing more.

Charm lacks depth to poignancy/soul. It's a very basic sense of delight, without nuance or depth/complexity. It's more skin deep than something that can evoke deeper or tougher emotions. I haven't felt anything from a Nintendo game that reached the soul level since maybe OoT(only the Spirit temple), but that was mostly just the soundtrack. Same with their SNES games. Their soundtracks and even in some cases the atmosphere like in Super Metroid hit harder...
"Soulless" lol. Sure, if you take out All of FFXIV, FF7 Remake, Nier Automata, DQXI, and quite a few other games. Nintendo has been nothing but soulless for decades. Charming, but soulless.
If you can reach Metroid levels of good for a sub ten hour game then more power to you. If not, then hopefully somewhere in the neighborhood.
So glad they’re still making games and I only recently got into them funny enough.
FF, DQ, Nier, KH, all the smaller games they have, Life is Strange, and probably remakes of other series that have in the works like Tactics Ogre.
Right back at you. Save your wind for yourself.
