You can enjoy a game, but that doesn’t mean it’s inherently a good game, regardless of time spent. Gacha mobile games can be addicting and I’ve put way too much time into one, but I wouldn’t call it a good game. Just a way to pass the time when not at home.
It's more that they're hard only on games that aren't nintendo while nintendo games get free passes.
If this article is quoting the lines I think it is, this may have been referring to the first game. If not, there was a quote taken likely out of context mentioning “whoever dies should not come back” paraphrasing. But clearly that’s up in the air with the whispers and people obviously coming back anyways.

Neither direction are good or bad. They’re opinions at the end of the day so there’s nothing of objective value to get from them. That being said, UK outlets like Edge and Metro seem to overrate Nintendo games and underrate almost everything else.
Disagree. They tend to give Pokemon games relatively high scores given their supposed "harshness". Same with giving a lot of great SE games relatively low scores despite a lot of SE games going above and beyond.

You can beat a lot of games in under 3 hours as a speed runner. Who cares.
Average time play through says about 6 hours, but for full completion it says 20 1/2 hours. First time through for me I took my time and took about 8 hours. Then again I’m not trying to race through the game. That’s about the same time for RE2 remake for a first time through, which even with multiple paths doesn’t have much extra content outside any given run.

I gotta agree with the replay value of the game. Despite the cut areas it still feels like you’re going through more areas than RE2 remake. That and the Nemesis isn’t as annoying as the Tyrant.

I don’t think physical copies of games are much sold at all on PC anymore. If they are it’s very rare.
