Is he going to kiss an anthropomorphic furry creature in a near death state?
This reveal was shit.
lol Paid online.
What? Getting cold feat over the price or the "not really a 4k gaming machine, but at least it can render 4k"?
I am and most exclusives this year were rather subpar at best. These companies need older, better games to make their systems look good. Also, my reply to Fishy Fingers.
Too bad these companies punish their consumers just, because backward compatibility isn't added. Any reasoning can still be thrown back to being the companies fault. PS1/2 uses MIPS, but the PS3 and PS4 uses different chips entirely? That's Sony's fault. I'd also be less critical of remasters if they were like Ocarina of TIme vs OoT 3DS. Console gaming in its current form is a disgrace. I don't fault the consumer in any way though.
Why are consoles getting more remasters than new games?
I put a /sarcasm tag at the end.
But remember this is pure nostalgia. No one is capable of enjoying games from the past without it just being nostalgia. /s
True. I know the startup cost for PSVR is cheaper, but there's also huge drawbacks in quality and framerate. I guess you could try doing VR on a $200-300 computer, but you'll just get PS4 level VR still.
It better be $250 if Nintendo wants to stay in the hardware business and not go third party. They're treading in deep water right now and any slip up can lead to a hard fall.
Nintendo doesn't have the foresight or "marketing smarts" to make something like this.
Maybe VR on consoles will be passable in the next 10 years and affordable on all platforms in the next 20.
PSVR is the cheapest VR solution right now, but it's also the lowest quality solution.
PC moves at its own pace. Consoles are having a panic attack right now and will in the future due to needing to keep up with PC.
Not sure what you mean, but I was just pointing out that VR hardware already exists, but it's going to be quite costly for the Scorpio to implement this hardware.
If their argument is "it'll unlock VR's true potential, because it's more powerful hardware" then why aren't they messing around with what GPUs are already on the market? I can't see how Scorio's going to have something more powerful than a 480 and be below $500.
I wonder if there's going to be a non HDR version?
