I was suprised at how much I got into Infamous. It started out a bit weak and they really should've went a different route with the voice actor (doing his best solid snake) and the graphics are hit and miss at times, with low rez textures populating the game at random; overall it was one of the best games I played this year.
Uncharted 2
Killzone 2
Infamous
Ratchet & Clank ACIT
And I think, to be honest, I had more hands on time with th...
Sodium is a decent waste of time, really. I got into it one night and played 3 hours probably. Upgrading those guns is just so fun. I wish they'd expand it to a few more varied areas but we'll see. One thing I was bummed to see was the lack of new arcade games within home. What gives here? What happened to that Helicopter game we all seen in the demos? What happened to Carriage Return even? Why aren't they putting up new content in the arcade? I'm sick of Echo Chrome and Ice Breaker....
That predates the Rocketeer? I do believe the rocketeer has been around since the late 40's to early 50's, man. He appeared in a serial called "King of the Rocket men" if I do remember correctly. Then again, I also remember him just being called "rocket man" in those serials, too.
In any event, the Rocketeer himself was coined in the late 70's to early 80's and is owned by Disney. I still believe their is an infringment here.
I laugh when people say Halo did this or that. It's a FPS and it plays, in my honest opinion, like any FPS. I will never understand why people say the gameplay in Halo is so above any of the other FPs on the market. They all play the same to me. Hell, maybe I'm just not picky and I'm glad for that. I know not to be let down by over hype.
I think Disney should sue Capcom for this game. They own the Rocketeer property rights and I'd swear they were one in the same with a few tweaks. I was interested in this game but now it seems to have fallen into obscurity with a slipped fall release date this one might end up being below average and that's a shame. Bring on the Rocketeer, though. I think that character should/could be explored in a video game again.
Damn, I wouldn't be surprised if Blaster Master or Bungie here are next in line for ol' Zacky-poo. You all sound like a couple of queens drooling over this no talent hack. What's wrong with you?
Seinfeld had an episode where Casus Belli was discussed to an extent. Just saying.
This game has no appeal to me. I played the demo and it was just more of the same hack n' slash combo cash in game we've had over and over this decade. As much as people say it isn't DMC or Ninja Gaiden or God Of War or Conan, even. It is. It has all of those elements just with a boring lead character. One I could care less about and one that doesn't ressonate with me one bit. The graphics on the Ps3 version seemed bland and a little stale in comparison to Ps3 exclusive games I've been ...
This guy playing games over the last 2 weeks while others are taking a break has nothing to do with staying true to anything. It just means he's got $#*T to do and is a sad 30 something' dude with nothing better to do than sit in front of a shoddy camera and exploit himself for monetary gain.
As for Army Of Two being better than Gears; it could be. I never played them. If Gears wants to improve I'm sure Epic will look deeper into their own development teams skills and tal...
This will happen to the vast majority of online console games. That's why complaining that a game doesn't have an absurd deathmatch or some online component is stupid. I'd be crying over more offline content because that is the only viable part of a game. People are just moronic to think every game should have on line of some kind in it. I remember when Infamous came out and people B*tched because it didn't have one. why? It doesn't need one. Uncharted doesn't either. Ratchet & Cla...
It makes sense if you think about it.
CODMW2 = 5 hours of gameplay with the cut scenes.
MGS4 = 4 hours of gameplay without the cut scenes.
It's only natural that he'd want to push his limits.
In terms of appeal, absolutely. In terms of innovation and revolutionary gameplay that wasn't done the decade before, no. We even had motion controls before this decade in a sense, (SERCOS, anyone?) I am grateful for Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Ico, Shadow Of Colossus, Uncharted, Little Big lanet and God of War, though. Aside from them games, not much else.
Anything to be different and buck trend, right Jaffe? Please, while Flower might be good, can't say for sure eitherway if I like it or not, it doesn't seem to be much of a game. Then again, neither did Flow.
I grew up in the Nes era. Gaming today is too easy, believe me. A couple tries on Ninja Gaiden's last level after the Bloody Moth or some Silver Surfer or some Ghost N' Goblins will send you crying back to your Ps3's and xbox 360's.
Ok, I played this for about 2 hours online tonight. It's good. Real good. But I still don't feel compelled to boot it up every day. And why did someone disagree with the fact I'd like to see some single player content to this game? Why would you all not like to see some offline DLC added? You could actually still use the DLc you bought 3 years from now or 4 should it be offline content. In 3 years nobody will be playing Uncharted 2 online, the servers will probably be down to boot. Off...
I'm so sick of hearing about a Final Fantasy 7 remake it makes me even sicker. Truth be told, was the game really that good? If you ask me it was like all the other turnbased games. I don't think Square makes good games, to be honest. I think people liked the story more than anything and I can't comment on that because I never got to see the ending of the game. It bored me to tears and the remake would no doubt do the same.
I know the game is a tremendous hands on favorite...
What grates my nerves is, and not just with this news, when a game gets DLC it's always for online multiplayer. Why not give us some more singleplayer objectives? Give us something new to do with the Singleplayer mode. It's the only reason I bought the game. In fact, I've played online with it twice and that was enough for me. Online games just don't appeal to me because there is so many of them. It's overwhelming to pick the "right" one.
I wish Naughtydog woul...
Great game but hardly a shooter. Just because a game has a ship with a gun on it doesn't mean it's a shooter. Hell, you could've called the game "Pixel Junk Drop Claw" and had it resonate better with the overall theme of the game than calling it "shooter". To me there is more of that element than there are shooting elements. When I think "shooter" I think Galaga, Life Force, Gradius, R-types, Ehinhander, Sol-Deace and so forth and so on.

Well, entertainment never accounted for taste. Look at Movies and Music and you'll see that statement holds a well of water.
How could anyone not rush out and buy Uncharted or a Ratchet and clank game? It boggles my mind. There is just so much in those games that more than make up for the money you're spending. COD6 has a 4 hour campaign and an online multiplayer that'll have no servers or community in 4 years time. But by all means, go spend that 60 bucks.
