It doesn't really. I'm like that with the vast majority of fps on the market. None of them push any boundaries at all and Halo is one of the most notorious for not doing anything another fps hasn't done but it gets credit for inventing the wheel of life for the genre. I loved the Simpsons game for Ps3... Crafted, written and put together extremely well. The voice actors being on board and actually giving great performances went along way with me too. More than I can say for Spiderman movie games, for instance. And way more appealing than Heavy Rain's stiff, low budget voice acting. Simpsons have done plenty for video games, reguardless if you like all of them or not a lot of the simpsons games were classics on the nes thru the gen/snes days.
Game's junk ... I played the demo for the Ps3 just a few min's ago. I hafta say it's an ugly game, but the xbox 360 version, in those pics, does look better. The main thing I noticed was the pain and cracks in the fence/gate towards the end of the pictures. It looks much more detail and realistic than the Ps3's version. Why isn't Double Dragon on the PSN yet? Why the hell hasn't Sony done anything to get some of these classic Arcade games up and running on their system in Home? It'd have made the Arcade in Home worth going into if it had gotten some support from some of the better known companies who own the property rights to these old coin op games. The thing is PC graphics, while good, are too clean. I like looking at high end PC graphics on my PC, but they still don't match "certain" PS3 games graphics. Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2's come to mind. They just have this weight to them. This heft. The lighting and the way the worlds are crafted really bring you into the screen. A PC game just isn't like that. Again, beautiful, crips and clear graphics on PC games, a great many, but they often times don't match Ps3's top game...
