Dude, people here have already said that the game "WAS" in development for the Ps2. I didn't say that. They did. I didn't know it was being made for the Ps2, I simply said it looks like it could have been done on the Ps2. GTASA is proof of that. Graphically taking a hit, but at all otherwise, yes. It could have been done. Sorry. Go back and read what your fellow PS3 lovers are saying before you come at me with Alligations.
Are you all really like this? I play on a 1080p 128hrtz 52in Sony Bravia. I play it in the best quality you can get almost. The game doesn't look "THAT" good. It's passable. It's about on par with Saints Row 2. The thing is, it's a 720P game, that doesn't boot in 1080P at all or even 1080I and the textures are low rez and to display them on such a big screen, like I am use to, is a huge problem. I think developers need to take this into consideration when they make their games. ...
7.5? Really? 7.5, that's really what they thought of this game? More like 1.5. This game has nothing in common with Double Dragon, like promised, and everything to do with sucking.
Thank god. If I want a motion controlled game I'll look elsewhere. The fact people are shoe horning this feature into games is absurd as it is. I hope they stick to their guns and opt out of it too.
You all are absurd. I said I loved Infamous and you all disagree in droves. Hell, another guy said the same thing I said and he got 10 agrees for it. He said the game didn't have good graphics, which it doesn't, and that the game was just fun. That's how I feel about it. Why the bias on this site? Hell, one person even said it was being made for PS2 and then ported over and you all agree, right after you tell me that it couldn't be done on Ps2. What's wrong with you all? Bias army of ...
Another Yawner in the long winded series confirmed. Zelda hasn't been good since the Snes days. Take a game out of 2-d and toss it into 3-d and you've got the formula for boring. Zelda OOT was a snooz fest. I've, to this day, only been about 2 hours into it. The whole forest area at the start is such a bore I couldn't go on. I always hear how great it was but I failed to see it.
I wish they'd go back to what made Zelda work and that's drop down/Birds eye view 2-d.
Yeah, just like Infamous could only be done on the Ps3. We see how shoddy it looks at times. Don't get me wrong, addicting and fun game with some neat elements, marred only by the true expansion of your character, but the game could've been done on the Ps2 in all honesty.
MAG, another game said only to be capable on the Ps3. Right. Looks like junk ass Monkey trash.
There are others too. I think GOW 3 is only on Ps3 because Sony owns it. I think that the gam...
I love how he brought up the terrible voice acting in Resident Evil, a game that's 15 years old damn near. Heavy Rain has equally as bad voice acting, if not worse by todays standards. Resident Evil was an event and an experience. It was suppose to feel like a low budget horror flick and it worked on every one of those levels. It had branching story arcs. Pieces of the game would couldn't see until your second play through "Barry and the Aqarium scene comes to mind" Parts of th...
Yes, painful install. You sit there watching him smoke. How exciting!! Listen, the controls haven't changed in MGS since the PSX days and that's about the gist of it. They might've added a couple things but we're still laying around in boxes and hittin' (2) buttons to lay prone. The game is stiff and it's poorly animated. They all walk around like they have puppet sticks up their A$$'es, man. Get real. And they hold their guns at absurd angles. Nobody holds guns at 45 degree angles. Th...
There are 3 era's in gaming that no one can ever touch or even try to compete with.
1. The Arcade era
2. The Nes era
3. The Sega/Snes 16bit era
Nothing beats it. Not your Ps1, Ps2 or Ps3/xbox 360 era's. There is something so appealing about those old school games to this day. They take you in and they absorb you with their music and their style. It's something no company will ever get right again.
To be honest, I'd like to see them tackle sand and maybe station the game around some temples or pyramids in Egypt.
I think my biggest complaint about the 2nd Uncharted was that it didn't have the isolation of the 1st one and you were always with someone at almost every turn. That bummed me out. I also think that being set in multiple locations was a mistake too. I liked it, don't get me wrong but I loved the fluid nature of the 1st one. You seen it, you went there. It ne...
I'm sure they'll have it laying around to develop for. Hell, I'm sure they could go and make a Sega Genesis game if they wanted to, couldn't they? Wouldn't that be something to see. If these big talented companies would go back and see what they could do using like nes hardware or something. Wonder what the end ressults would be? I wonder if they'd be able to tap into any power developers had overlooked or didn't grasp back then?
Oh, and incidently I had no problems whatso...
Only two? And 1 second to lay pron holding it in? WOW! How intuative. My previous post saying 3 was sarcasm as I displayed the proper way of laying prone quickly afterwards. LEarn to read.
MGS is a stiff series with stiff controls and awkward ones at that. It's not fluid. It's bland and boring. MGS4 was a headache to tinker with and anyone who's played it knows it. Right down to the painful install of 5 gb.
I guess you need to have some eyeballs donated to you so you can learn to read and comprhend better. All you're saying is grafix this and that. I clearly said if you played it on a CRT tv the vast majority would see no difference. As for the other things you made note of, sure did take a long time for GT to become standard. Project Gotham 3 had 90% of that stuff 4 years ago, maybe five now. How's that for irony?
What's wrong, jmare, been playin' a lot of MAg today?
God those are some $#*TTY choices... R&CACIT and Pixel junk Shooter withstanding. Imagine this guy buying games as gifts for people or worse yet, think of his kids. I bet you nobody goes to their house to play games. They all suck.
Strange, I felt it was more of a "Solar Jet Man" rip off. Oh, that's what ill informed journalist will do for ya. Lead you down the path of conformity. Worst review yet for this game, and I'm not talking about score. I'm talking about the lack of general knowledge about the games roots.
MAG is a game only those with an abundance of time on their hands will love. Basically virgins and momma's boys.
Ok, so they had a good month. Let's see them keep that momentum going and see that gap closing now, can we? Good job, Sony. We need the heat back on the competition.
Edit: I joined this site a long time ago and forgot about my account here and I'm kinda wishing I would've kept it that way. I give Sony a compliment and congratulate them and you all disagree in droves. What is wrong with this place? I say Infamous, great game, has lack luster graphics compared to other open ...
