Gears of War is like a made for Si-fi or, I'm sorry... Sy-fy movie. It's lame. It's low budget. It's cheesy and it has absolutley no worth to the market. This movie will go over like a led Balloon.
This is the PC version and, sadly, it doesn't bat Uncharted 2 in visual bang! To me I actually liked the older Sam looking homeless dude. Why'd they ditch that gameplay? It looked so much cooler than this one.
Sonic started sucking when they tried to compete with Mario 64 in 3-d space... Well, that and the fact they added twnety characters that were all just as fast as Sonic. Why the hell did they do this? Why have your main character lose his appeal by having fifty other characters just as fast as him? What was Sonic's selling point after that? Sonic had speed... That was it. Speed and attitude. I heard Insomniac had a survival horror game set for PS3 this October. I forget the name but it's been a rumor for almost a year now. It was floating around on gamefaqs anyways. The Dolphin emulator is the only thing that can pull this off and that's that. Which is sad that hackers are more talented than Nintendo's staff who actually created the hardware. A shame that I can run all these games in higher rez than 1080P and the wii can't even do 720P.

In terms of power, yes... Microsoft it's over. The system is tapped and has been since Gears of War 2. The only thing you can do to squeeze anymore power out of the xbox 360's ass is to make your games even shorter than they already are. Gears of War 2 was 5 hours long, for instance. Actually, you could battle those people in the backdrops of Genji. Granted not all of them, but after you beat a set you'd go further into the back drop and take on more. The enemies in the backdrop were all real time and it showed as they jumped into action as you went along. That isn't a very convincing argument, man.
