A 5k build for 13,000. Pretty pitiful, and somehow they still barely put in any drive space. Before clicking I expected to see 4 large ssd's in 0+1 raid with at least 4x 4tb wd blacks for storage, even then I knew it was a ridiculous mark up, this however is just insulting.
That's a pretty big fail actually. Despite what a few might tell you blu-ray WILL overtake dvd as the most common disk format within a few more years. The larger capacity is too big to ignore, it already is the preferred way to backup. Seems pretty weak that the 'media box one' can't even play user created content.
500gb is fine middle of the road for a system to come with. I use my computer for most media so I dont even come close to using 500gb on my ps3. Some people want more thats fine, but they'll likely buy their own 2-4TB anyways, I'd be more interested in buying a 240GB SSD if they can optimize it to actually give a decent boost in load times.

All wrong. This article is basing everything on Crucial Memory’s promo page which has been up for a long time, its more than likely it just hasn't been updated. Theres no reason for commercial dd4 to be available since no motherboard has dimms for it and no processor can use it.

If anyone's arrogant its Microsoft for thinking they could just impose whatever restrictions they wanted and people would accept it, but they learned the hard way, just as sony did at the start of the last generation. I think everyone has had a taste of that humble pie now and its gonna be a great thing for us consumers in the long run.

In the writers last 'hands on' preview article (which he links to in this one), he states that the inventory and short-range dash are directly taken from dishonored. That's what I meant by that.
I don't know, it could go either way. Dishonored was fantastic and flat out stealing its ideas isn't a bad thing, but some of the other things mentioned are worrisome. No jump button really scares me, I've played all the assassins creed games and while its decent for those I'd much prefer a normal jump for most games.
Being made by the same studio as DX:HR gives me some hope as that did turn out better than expected and I think they've learned even more ab...
