DeadIIIRed hit the nail on the head. People are already talking 4k this and that, but very few are talking about how a 4k movie is over 100GB.
Thing's like google fiber are amazing, but they've only gotten to like 3 cities in 2 1/2 years, even with huge acceleration it will be a long time before something similar is available country wide. Comcast and the others have no interests in upgrading while they can still milk the current market.

I had to do the math out of curiosity:
Pop of Poland: 38.54 million
Pop of NA: 528.72 million
Rounding up it would be like selling 4802 units in North America over 9 months. Lucky for them NA actually did alot better, though numbers like that pretty much confirm it is in fact a dead console in some places.

You act like everyone buys a newly released title used for $55. Many of us only go to gamestop for backlog games that are $10~20. A lot of older titles are on par with online prices (dirt cheap)and if you don't wanna wait for shipping its a fair option.
I've gone there since it was Funcoland, and while I certainly don't agree with all their practices, it DID help grow the industry and even today can provide a service for gamers who are smart and use...

I would have to disagree with him. Flash memory has been mass produced for some time now, its in everything from cell phones to ssd's. While prices do go down over time, flash memory is pretty close to bottoming out in its current state so any price reductions will be marginal at best.
And wouldn't "value" be them buying it wholesale, it'll cost us more to buy a retail external drive...
True, but by design only. For instance the logitech G700s has the same 1000 reports/second even while in wireless mode, but then its a gaming mouse and that's what people wanted.
They could do the same with any type of input controller. They wont though if they can sell controllers like this that offer no real improvements, but enough "Illuminated logos" to make people forget that this is really nothing special.
Maybe it was a typo, but I believed before that it will end up coming to ps4, most likely around the pc release since those ports will be very similar in nature. Considering how long it will be till gta6, it makes sense to port this game sometime next year since a huge player base looks to be ready to jump into next gen.
