This is an awesome article, I really enjoyed it.
The people who approve these articles are people who actually read them. If you bothered to actually check out the story, you would see that part of this sale applies to Wii titles as well.
Just lettin' ya know, the custom photos are actually already there. They were implemented mid-2009. =) Although it's true, we are still waiting on some key improvements and features...
Man, there's just one video I had in mind when everything went back to normal and I logged into the PSN. =)
It is kind of disheartening when countries fail to see games as an important commodity to keep jobs in their county. With a world-wide recession going on, I don't know how they COULDN'T handle making a few tax cuts for the gaming industry.
It's a little late Valve, we've known this since Gabe started uttering complete and absolute nonsense. And I don't it's that you guys messed up, it's that you've messed up because of the sheer fact that you don't seem to care. After seeing what Naughty Dog has done with Uncharted and what Sony Santa Monica is doing with God of War III (WOW), you guys are essentially rookies in this game now, despite all your supposed experience.
Right now I really couldn't care either way if you...
Kojima said himself that Peace Walker would be the true successor to MGS4, while Metal Gear Rising (multi-platform) would not be.
Beautifully designed levels sound excellent! Now if they could just fix that horrid model of Sonic that we saw in the trailer and leaked gameplay video... bring back the sprites!
I'm a hardcore PS3 fan and Heavy Rain is a great game, but I'm not liking it as much as everybody else is apparently... Heavy Rain a reason to buy a PS3? I don't think so. To be honest, I'm more excited about Yakuza 3 hitting March 9th.
Flippin’ fantastic interview! Some really awesome stuff in there with so many pressing questions answered! This should appease the North American fanbase for the time being, because this service is oh-so tempting! =)
Greenburg is a joke, really. I don't know if I can take any more 100% false, flame-bait rhetoric from this guy. -_-
VidZone is quite possibly one of the coolest concepts to be implemented in a console. I REALLY want this service to hit us over here in North America! The SingStar Viewer just isn't cuttin' it for me!
I was SO hopeful that this was going to be good and... well... based on Sonic's animation and movement, it looks like Sega muffed an almost guaranteed success. >.< I seriously hope they change some things up before release.
This article is pretty freakin' fantastic, especially for the Sonic fan that actually has common sense. Nice one IGN, I'm SO glad that amjor sites are starting to point out these things that fans have been trying to for YEARS.
I personally, being an old school gamer (Genesis, SNES), really disagree with this idea. If they adopt this model, then those who play a lot will be charged a lot, and although some would find that fair, I certainly don't because I can suck a lot of replay value out of single player games and a lot of people love those long marathon sessions online in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (along with other games in the genre) and I really don't feel like being hit with a charge every time I hop on. ...
Wow, live in your world, play... and I mean PLAY in ours. LOL.
Wow, this write-up is just sad. You seriously compared Forza 3 sales to Gran Turismo PSP!? LOL. If this is the trend we're creating, then Gran Turismo 5 is going to absolutely murder Forza 3 in terms of sales, easily. (If it ever sees the light of day, that is...)
Yes, I would like to back that up. Here's the link: http://playstation.joystiq....
This article is incredibly inaccurate. They've done thermal tests which prove that using a console vertically created MORE heat, as opposed to using it horizontally. UGH.
BTW, I've had my PS3 for over 3 years and I haven't had a problem yet (it's the original 60GB model upgraded to 250GB). How about people just use common sense when using their consoles and TAKE CARE OF IT.
Very nice review. This is going to be (or already is) EPIC!
