Most people = uneducated masses.
It's so much easier on the eyes, I wish they would keep it.
I'd rather wait for a better, more polished product. And considering that GT5 is more than likely gonna blow Forza 3 out of the water, I'll have no problem being patient about it.
I don't know about you guys, but I never had a problem with Uncharted's water portion and really enjoyed the water levels in Sonic because they were actually challenging! =)
The PS3 is already region free when it comes to software playback...
You can already play Halo on the PS3. PS3 + Linux + PC Version of Halo = Halo on PS3, SIMPLE.
Accidentally double posted... ignore or delete.
No, 3.01 is NOT mandatory. The reason you were prompted was because you didn't have 3.00 yet and that WAS mandatory so they updated you to the latest version which was 3.01.
How is this article damning Sony? It simply points out how it probably would have been a better decision to make 3.01 mandatory and to possibly inspire common sense down the line. If you read the article then you would know that. Would you want the prequel to one of the biggest games of the year sitting out there with a glitch due to firmware 3.00 where users can't even progress? Yeah, I didn't think so.
Yeah, but how many new users will realize that it's the system or the firmware? What's stopping them from going back to the retailer where they bought the game and complaining that it keeps freezing and then they demand their money back? This is especially true for those going from PS2 to PS3 where firmware updates were never a concern...
No problem dude.
But unfortunately most new users probably wouldn't know where to begin. I doubt their first thought would be "I think I'll check the Official PlayStation Forums" as new gamers would be oblivious to it. Also, it wasn't optional because not everyone was experiencing the freezing, Sony noted that all of the minimal updates (paraphrasing) would be optional.
LOL, he just said he wants the game to "meld" with the often overheated Xbox 360. ^_^ I'd say that will happen.
No, it does NOT freeze your PS3, at least it won't if you give it time and be patient when you enter. If you're patient and let it load 100% you shouldn't have any problems. The space is just facing some stress due to the influx of users coming in. Both the normal space and VIP rooms work just fine. Now, of course if you go right in + bad connection + visit your wardrobe all in one shot, that will cause problems, otherwise there is absolutely NO bugs of any kind, I haven't gotten any errors O...
Yeah baby! I really miss the Dreamcast's glory days, one of the greatest consoles ever created IMO. Crap, I really have a hankerin' for some Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi now! (Turns on Dreamcast) =D
I'm still waiting for a new Ecco The Dolphin! =)
If they re-release Sonic Adventure it'll be a day one purchase for me. =)
In the story...
"Networking: Ethernet (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T) × 1; IEEE 802.11 b/g; Bluetooth® 2.0 (EDR)"
So yes, the Wi-Fi is still there. =)
It seems like now things are really starting to pick up. And I'm pretty sure there's a lot on the back burner, so I think we'll see a lot in the coming months.
I knew this was bull crap, that's why I hesitated to even click on this story so as not to give it the degrees it so desperately does not deserve. The only kids that actually injure themselves playing video games are the ones who sit in the back of the class trying to talk to someone WHO ISN'T THERE!
C'mon, I've been playing games consistently since age 3 or 4 and... well... I'm actually more fit than most who DON'T play video games. (Thanks Sonic!)
And oh yeah, by t...
