I have a better solution cheaper digital downloads, i have yet to see a game sold on xbox live that is cheaper than it is in the shops, ms's pricing polices for digital downloads are blood stupid.
extra power won't make to much difference to rendering a single game character as even the most complcated renders onlys use 15,000 polys, but there is a big difference in attitude between what nintendo do and what sony will do so I can see you point, I would love to see a game like pokamon or the one the pseye had can't remenbers it name where you could have two ag characters fighting a bit like the scence in star wars were the play the chess game.
@led-zeppelin the do it already with rumble in pads aready for change in surfaces in driving games why do you think so many people complained when they removed the rumble from the original ps3 pad as people didn't like the loss of feedback from the pad from gettin shot or change in road surface.
the difference with the way the 3ds is the 3d screen, ive only played a demo unit but I was very impressed with the way you had to move around the object in real 3d space, the demo I played you had to shoot at targets on a dragon one of the targets was on it back it looked really good and the 3d made a big difference.
haptic tech has been around for a while now try using your phone with it turned off and tell me it doesn't make a difference to the feedback you get from the touch screen, just look at the diffence rumble on a pad has made to fps when you get hit, or a racing game when you start to lose grip and just think of it as just an extension of that.
doesn't look too bad, but like most fan made films will prob have badly acted dialogue, hope MS don't stop thr production for copywrite issuses they diserve a chance to release it seein as MS has all but given up on a halo movie.
I think it more to do with the level of texturing that will be needed next gen
I used my ds at home because it was a compleatly different experience for my other consoles and you couldn't say that about the psp as it was just the same style of games only poorer graphics.
I think sony are making the same mistakes with the new psp the battery life will be poor again meaning your resticted to being at home and then you may as well turn your ps3/360 on where as the 3ds does stuff you just can't do on a home console like the whole 3d argmented realli...

Q1 is the new christmas
it's the ps3 version made small, quite a feat, amazing
infinity want quick sales all at once so there are loads of people to sell them all DLC in a few months to give them even more paper to choke on in there office
xbox live did the same as the network adaptor with the xbox 1 and nobody was tied in a network till the 360 came along
sonys online ps2 service started in 2002 as well
It depends on how the publishing contract was draw up for who owns the rights, nintendo make them water tight MS less so, or if EA bought the rights to the first game from MS as part of the bioware buyout
PD zero supported 32 players online at launch and FF11 supports much more the 256, and sony also released its network adaptor for the PS2 in 2002 so on a timescale xbox live is only months older
ha ha 3 disagrees for stating facts
that your avatar pic is from a game with a 4 hour campaign and no multiplayer what so ever
Sod GT this is by far and away the most impressive thing i've seen on the psp
Is that all 800 that's not that many for a large company like ms and in the newspaper in England today they are advertising new jobs at MS(pages 4 and 5 in the sun recruitment section)sony cut 16,000 jobs not that long ago.
