I would have bought one if they were cheaper, xbmc emulators etc could have been great.
But compared to a much cheaper android stick it just wasn't worth it.
It would have been better pr if they said the system banned him by detecting a console that wasn't authorized and we apologise and will be unbanning him as soon as possible.
I don't like the ps4 case design it looks a bit cheap but from the side the ps4 logo really stands out where as the others blend in too much with blurays etc.
Looks really great I'm from the UK and never been a basketball fan but with the average job ea have done with fifa I'm seriously considering this.
Thanks for the video's, off to subscribe to your youtube channel.
This is what happens when a dev get forced into releasing.
Activision are going to learn the hard way when cod loses ground to its rivals.
If thet have another weak year it will get everyone talking an may damage the series for most of the next generation.
??? That statement doesn't really make alot of sense, if this looked better than crysis would you still say the same thing.
Does a game have to be an fps to be accepted graphically.
If they have decided that the prologue is important to the main story them they may bung it all on one disk or even maybe make it like a preorder dlc rather than have a disjointed story.
Reading the article it makes it sound like metal gear is going to be episodic.
Doesn't make much sense for an open world game unless its included with the new mgs as a prologue.
Im looking forward to war thunder as well.
The only price I have seen mentioned is an entry level model that will be $99, but to be honest I can't imagine it being much more than a media and game streaming device, but I think it show the kind of pricing they could be aiming for.
I hope it could be one of their base models rather than a souped up raspberry pi. Have a Bubble.
@scatpants you haven't seen a cheaper pre built pc because those people are profiteering from them, but steam are in a different position they want customers on the steam store and make money that way and probably sell at cost price or even subsidised them.
If valve go to nvidia and amd and say I want 2 million gpus do you think that they will pay the same as buying one.
They could even do what sony and ms do an set up a Chinese plant to bulid all the parts for them.
They are making the steam machines in the same way google make the nexus product line, other people make them and google brand and subsidise.
Who do you think is sending out the prototypes at the moment.
Steam are branding them but letting anyone make them if they like too.
A steam box will definitely be cheaper than the same speced pc, no windows to pay for, valve can buy in bulk etc.
You technically have a steambox if you put the os on it, but not everyone wants a big pc sat next to their tv.
Valve will buy all the parts in bulk for the steambox an negotiate some big discounts.
Nvidia know steam makes up a large part of pc gaming an won't want to lose out to amd so are likely to give valve serious discount on their cards.
And valve will probably subsidise it too to make money on software.
So you could get a better speced pc for less mo...
A bit off topic but does anyone know if there will be any game demos at launch.
They have kept improving killzone with every build, I just wish they carried on with the extra time they had.
At least it look fun to play.
The character modelling really let down the next gen versions, some of the most realistic water effects ever let down by the rubbish looking people swimming in it and the wwater barely reacting to them.
Why would anyone preorder forza you can get the game for free when you buy an xbone.
I bet the best reviewed game will be nba 2k14, then killzone.
