It ran off the original doom engine I think and it was aliens vs predator.
I think it was the first aliens vs predator game.
I quite liked the snens aliens game too.
Atari jaguar had a good one.
@ratchet OK i will we switch to the Xbox one which is a worse case scenario for advertised storage space and use your TV analogy.
If you bought a TV advertised at being 50inch and you got home and found out it was actually 36.2 inch would you be agreved.
@testo so you think the industry is doing things correctly by rounding up the figure to suit them to make it look like a better product than it is?
@testo so you think its fair all the storage devices that you have purchased advertise falsely, if I bought 500 gold bars and what you actually got was 407 would you accept that as an expected tolerance.
@kratos which part of advertising that it comes with 500gb of storage and only having access to around 400gb a positive thing, same goes for MS its just false advertising no matter how you spin it.
My point is Disney wouldn't pay anyone to make a marvel game when Activision is paying them for the licence to make marvel games.
It just ain't how businesses are run.
I.e. you buy into a franchise to benefit from their branding not the other way around.
That's completely the opposite to how licenceing works.
That's like saying McDonald's/KFC/subway whoever should pay the owner to run a franchise.
If they made a donation that would be great PR but if they did it for exclusivity it would look like they have taken advantage of company in need and in some peoples eyes will look like exploitation.
@Alelethian, insurance in our country isn't really dictated by customer service it dictated by how high up the list their quote is on comparison websites, its very easy to hide things in the small print.
So the reality is that pulling stunts like this makes your quote cheaper and therefore moves your quote up the list of insurers.
And the comparison website collobrate with the insurance company's to inflate market prices in a similar way to the oil industry.
@pandamobile anyone who knows how the console industry works will know that a $400 console is much better speced that a $400 pc, games get optimised for that spec.
The console as a whole gets subsided and get produced all onto a single motherboard.
Sony/ms buy the designs from AMD and it all gets produced in one manufacturing plant bypassing all the middle men.
Dam you spelling correction
I would have thought that any CPU doing the preprocessing of texture would be as dependent on the bus speed between the CPU and GPU if it was doing it on the fly.
I'm surprised the most at the i7 being so good as I would have thought it would bottle neck between moving it to the GPU.
Trine 2 on the ps4 looks so much better in 3d, so much so I bought it after playing the demo.
High end TV's tend to lag more than low end sets as they use more processing, plasmas are usually pretty good for gaming as the refresh much faster than LCDs but it all depends on the model and how much processing is envoled, always use game mode if you have it and turn any processing of any kind off.
If the hackers know the security is really tight on the ps3/360 they are going to try out a new system for security holes there are always a couple missed and they will see this as a new opportunity.
Like the back door found though ps4 FIFA dlc I think it was forcing everyone to change passwords.
They own dice they are not just a publisher for dice.
I think they should get rid of all this celeb stuff, and Greg miller to host as at least he says what he thinks and get marcus beer as hes another that has a bit of personality and ties in gametrailers, also they should have someone within the industry who is respected like Jaffe, molyneux, carmack etc.
You guy's missed the best ending of any game I've played this generation.
Multiplatform quality on the ps4 will depend on how much the ps4 outsells the xbone in the future, devs won't take any nonsense from ms if there are more sales to be made from a better ps4 version
Correction it works sometimes but still a bit flakey.
The same Reason psn kept crashing after Christmas too many people logging in on their new ps4s
