@Major_Glitch For those with a wallet PC is better or even those without money. The ability to upgrade at leisure and put settings where you want to actually enjoy the game is better. The PC gamer just wins by a huge distance. More games. Best/custom versions of older (good) games. Sorry pal :)

Correction: The original xbox was more powerful than playstation 2. The xbox 360 and xbox one are not.
I'm not saying its that bad. At least not yet. Well lets see if my vision comes correct for the future console VR tech leader company. They closed Playstation Home. Haven't released any reasonable updates to ps3 like background game update/patch downloads. Gave up on Vita due to sales. Playstation store on ps3 and ps4 runs terrible and still not fixed (newer store launch issue since 2008?). I bought digital ps3 versions of ps2 games and can't get the ps4 version of the same game? ...
Dude, I know how money helps a company and all, but do you get how it hurts yourself and other console/pc consumers at the same time? When a console has narrow competition and a ton of fanboys it helps them coast and get away with more. Im an og playstation fan and they definitely cocky now. Splash some water on your head and convince yourself to celebrate less.
@MachuchalBrotha316 They ARE forcing people to pay for multiplayer. The paying should be for premium features like on any other platform in the world.
Who cares if Playstation is winning the popularity contest. Look at the future and see what a cocky video game company can do with all the wool it can collect up. Or look at their past and know that this is not good news at all. Would be nice to see Microsoft or Nintendo steal a few...just sayin.
Look at my comment history I supported Playstation when they were the underdogs last gen. Own 2 ps3s, ps4 and had 2 ps2s but sold one.

It is better than a new game actually. Most the AAA games made this generation are huge middle fingers to the players. This is basically a remaster with 0 effort and thickens Rockstar/Microsofts wallet. If new games were actually good, remasters and backwards compatibility wouldn't be as important this gen.
The reason it is such a big deal is they aren't same performance ports like in the past or poor game performance territory of ps now. They are in remaster territ...
They want to segment the communities far enough to justify Xbox Live subscription fee when they should ditch it and offer that Microsoft proposed then killed digital buyback program etc for gold members. They should bring the two communities together fully. They are backtracking now full force. Xbox gamers should be able to play on keyboard and mouse if desired or controller. Very doable.
There are so many places that manufacture full PCs under 600 but aren't really high end (higher than console, but over 600 dollars have true gamer rigs). Ibuypower, cyberpc, syber, zotac, alienware, tigerdirect(and piece the kit together) (hate to say it but they aren't actually too pricey for what they offer)

@miyamoto Actually Sony was the first to publicly develop the ability to block used games on ps4 but pulled back on it at the last second. Google it. Microsoft hopefully learned never to follow another game companies lead at this point and those NEO specs are probably incorrect as well. Sony is a very deceptive company.
@SonyWarrior actually because AMD offered custom chip solutions with GPU and CPU on one chip they had the edge as well as the low bidder.
@Movefasta1993 Not sure if you have a gaming PC...but you can get those games on PC and play them at ridiculous framerates and high quality settings and enjoy them (no remasters needed just PC version).
And I have to agree with you. The quality of single player games has dropped this generation. Companies are focusing more on how to keep players buying the series wanting more instead of giving the ultimate experience, with emphasis on season passes, series reboots, and dlc....
@dilbig5 This is the same thing Sony has done digitally for years. Cross buy with Vita and Ps3 versions of Ps4 games etc. The main advantage is this sounds like Microsoft will offer this more across the board as Sony's was per title.
