Alan Wake looks better than Uncharted, Heavy Rain and MGS4.
Whatever you say man. The guy above gave a link to the Xbox 360 version of Rage and it does look better than Killzone 3. Open your eyes. When you also consider Rage runs at 60 fps and Killzone 3 only runs at 30 fps then Rage wins hands down.
You can say it should be free all you want. But creating and maintaining such a feature-rich service as Xbox LIVE requires a lot of time and money.
The only reason Sony doesn't charge for the basic PSN is because they can't. Nobody would pay for it when there is a better service available.
I'm happy paying the $40 a year considering the quality of the service and everything it does.
Aside from Blu-ray the PS3 has no real advantage over the 360 hardware wise.
The two consoles are very similar as far as how powerful they are and the 360 does have some advantages over the PS3, such as more USB ports and backwards compatibility, to name a few.
It really depends on what your needs and wants are. For somebody that has no interest in Blu-ray it isn't an advantage. For somebody that doesn't want to play last gen games backwards compati...
Um, go look at Rage, Crysis 2 and Enslaved. Those games look as good as any exclusive.

Um, you need to get your eyes checked. Rage looks better than Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2. I've only seen a small part of Killzone 3, so I can't form an opinion about that yet. Crysis 2 was right up there as well.

Well, it is different this generation. Last generation the Xbox was more powerful than the PS2 in nearly every way. It had twice as much RAM (64MB vs 32MB), a processor that was around 2 and half times faster (733 MHz vs 300 MHz), and it also had a built-in hard drive (which the PS2 lacked). So of course games were clearly going to look better on the Xbox.

Look guys as I see it John Carmack is saying the two systems are almost equally powerful and if he wanted he could make "either" version look better. PS3 fanboys are always trying to promote this myth that there was a time when 360 fanboys dominated and the poor PS3 fanboys had no choice but to defend "their" console from unwarranted attacks, but the reality is no such time ever existed.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it looks miles better than Resistance 2. Everything from textures, lighting, scale and dynamic destruction it blows away Resistance 2 and even probably beats Killzone 2 all things considered.
I have played so many great games on my 360. Now I can't wait for Halo Reach, Fable 3 and Gears of War 3. Plus all the amazing multiplats that are coming out soon.
