Sure, it goes both ways, but it goes one way a lot more than it does the other way. That is, PS3 fanboys troll 360 articles far, far more than 360 fanboys troll PS3 articles.
It is routine to see 360 articles where negative comments about the 360 or one of its games have far more agrees than disagrees. Even this article is an example of that. I have virtually never seen that happen in a PS3 article.
Quit trying to act like it is anything close to equal. P...
Whatever the technical differences might be one thing is certain: the 360 version of FFXIII was much more similar looking to the PS3 version than the PS3 version of Bayonetta was to the 360 version.
Resolution isn't the biggest thing. It really matters what the resolution is and how it is upscaled. The 360 in general does a much better job of upscaling lower resolutions thanks to its HANA upscaling chip. When a game is sub-HD on the PS3 it tends to suffer more.
@L-Teezy
Just LOL! Another delusional ps3 fanboy, why am I not surprised?
@finalblink41
Sure, buddy, that's why so many reviews have commented on how outstanding the graphics are. I have played the game since yesterday and it is one of the best looking games on any console.
You're a moron, niceguyWii3, if you really think any significant portion of 360 owners bought a new 360 when theirs broke. Why would they when Microsoft fixed the problem for free? (As for people that get YLOD after one year...well, that's a different story.)
Your theory doesn't hold water because the 360 software attache rate is still the highest out of the consoles and 360 cross-platform games routinely outsell their PS3 counterparts. All that, despite the fa...
Yes, and my PS2s should have never broke either, but hey it's not a perfect world. At least Microsoft fixed those people's 360s that failed, unlike Sony who charged to fix my PS2s.
Erm...in this case this is coming from the British Defense secretary, not Americans.
I'm sure there are Americans against this as well. I'm just saying get your facts straight and try not to be so judgmental yourself.
Controversy sells games. I guess that is what they were hoping for with Medal of Honour.
"so lets look at this from technical side...."
"Uncharted 2 has more polygons in character models."
Prove it. As far as I know none of that info has been released about Gears of War 3. In any case, character models are just one aspect of game graphics among many.
"Uncharted 2 has more polygons in the environment."
Prove it. It sure doesn't look like it.
"Uncharted 2 has more details.&q...
Then again, IGN also claimed Bioshock was better on the PS3 and that turned out to be a big fat lie.
What about somebody that doesn't care about Blu-ray?
Smart man. We need more people like you around here. Most of these people speak in absolutes, as if their opinion were written in stone as fact.
I agree with this article. This is shaping up to be one of the best years ever for gaming.
Of course nobody knows for sure, but based on everything I know I think Halo Reach will probably be my game of the year. Mass Effect 2 is up there as well. Everybody's GOTY is different, but I bet that Halo Reach will be many people's pick of GOTY this year. Normally I don't even like to make such predictions, but Halo Reach looks so good.
Really?! Wow! I'm sure that will be in the final version.
You act like there is this static Halo fanbase that are the only people that buy the Halo games. Well, you are dead wrong. Each main Halo title has sold more than the previous one, so obviously more people continue to get interested in it. Halo Reach will likely sell more than all previous Halo titles.
I have heard many people on forums and comment sections throughout the net say that they plan on buying a 360 mainly to play Halo Reach.
In the end though, ...
@Lyr1c
What's your point? I see a 360 fan answered immediately by a couple rabid PS3 fanboys. The PS3 fanboy said much more idiotic and hateful things than the 360 fanboy. The 360 fan was just commenting in response to how many times we have been told by PS3 fanboys that the 360 is dying and that the PS3 was going to demolish it in sales. The PS3 fan then went off on a tirade saying a bunch of biased nonsense.
@NecrumSlavery
Sony BOUGHT all of...
Hell yeah it's doing impressive sales. It actually sold almost as much as the PS3 and Wii combined.
I've heard lots of fanboys claiming that the sales spike would only last around a month and then go back down, but it turns out they were all wrong. A lot more 360s were sold this month than last month. And with Halo Reach coming out in September and then the holidays coming up right after that I think the 360 will continue to sell extremely well.
The jab about Depeche Mode albums always sounding the same is pure bullsh!t.
"If you’re tired of brown and gray, prepare to be overloaded with color with Reach’s vibrant and gorgeous visuals. While not perfect, it easily ranks among the top visuals seen on the platform."
So much for the haters that claimed the game didn't have great graphics.
I've been playing the game since yesterday and I fully agree. Halo Reach is a gorgeous game.
