That's what I'm saying, I totally agree with you. There is no other shooter with such dynamic and expansive levels that has graphics this good.

Yeah it was short. IGN has a bunch of these short clips of Firefight mode. I wish it was longer too. It looked awesome though.

How long do you expect a game to be? Alan Wake took me a lot longer to beat than Uncharted 2 and I was satisfied with the length of both games.
How is it not technically outstanding? It has excellent textures, really good HDR lighting, nice motion blur, beautiful skies, large open levels, amazing gun models, etc. By any standard it is easily one of the better looking games this generation.
Who are you trying to convince? Yourself? The 360 version clearly has better anti-aliasing, unless you are blind.
Come on, it's clear that the 360 version is better. It has better anti-aliasing, has ambient occlusion that is missing in the PS3 version and looks crisper in general.

It's funny how some fanboys think resolution is everything. Alan Wake is still one of the best looking games I have played this generation. Whining over and over about it not being full 720p is meaningless. I also wonder where these PS3 fanboys were when MGS4 came out. Having played both versions of many games I can tell you that these differences are very real and do have an impact on the visual quality of the games.
The only reason you are denying it is because you are a PS3 fanboy that hates the fact the 360 most often comes out on top in these comparisons.
Ghostbusters looked very noticeably inferior on the PS3. For people like myself that have a choice why should I choose the inferior version?
Yeah, the PS3 version definitely seems jaggier and less crisp. For example, check out the guys hand and other objects in the shot where he is coming up out of the sewer.

I find these comparisons useful because I own both consoles and I want to know which version is better, whether it is a big difference or a small difference.
And seriously, quit exaggerating. It is never as insignificant as a speck of dirt underneath a shoe. We routinely see very significant differences. Even if it's only a matter of one having no anti-aliasing while the other does, that is a worthwhile difference to know about in my opinion.

That's funny, I've owned my 360 for over 4 years and have never had to send it in to get fixed because it has never broke. I do enjoy the quick updates and downloads on my 360 though.
