My point is just that you can see bits and pieces of the eggs hatching, and if this keeps up its going to be great. That is all i am getting at, on top of Xbox being much more compelling now then it was in 2013.
I don't know of any gaming company that doesn't buy studios or how you could complain about Microsoft purchasing studios. Phil has heard your cry of "Xbox has no games" and answered it with some studio acquisitions. Are you going to start complaining when Xbox actually has new games too? Wasn't insomniac purchased by Sony? What do you expect Microsoft to do when they have to play catch up to Sony? Another thing you have to understand is that Microsoft is trying to bui...
I wouldn't say that Thundercat. Phil was dealt a bad hand, enough of a bad hand with the Xbox One release that it has taken years to fix the mistakes that were made. I can't help but feel that the hate you are channeling towards Xbox has to do with you previously being a huge OG Xbox/Xbox 360 fan and feel burnt by Xbox One. I think a lot of people making similar arguments to yours are in the same boat. Don't worry the games are coming, and when they all start releasing you will...
I know many people will disagree with me here, and that is fine, but i feel Phil Spencer was dealt a pretty bad hand when he replaced Jason Holtman after the Xbox One release. I personally think Phil has done a fantastic job getting Xbox to where it is today. Sure there will be those that say "Xbox has no games", but we are getting to a point where all the hard work Phil and Team have been doing the last 7 years is finally starting to pay off, and we are seeing bits and pieces of ...
In 2021, shit should just work the way you expect it to. Automatic upgrades to newer versions of the game without any fucking circus like process to move saves over from an older to newer version etc. This type of shit isn't that big of a deal, but all the little things like this add up over time to make for a bad experience. I hope Sony wisen up soon and start fixing what should be trivial issues like this so we can all get the experience out of PS5 that was meant to be had. The othe...
I am overly excited to hop in to my favorite game trillogy of all time. Bring it on BioWare. Heres hoping that this helps breathe new life into Mass Effect so the series can be revived and we can continue to get the original trillogy quality in new iterations of the game.
The more I see games running at 1440p 60fps, the more I wish marketing on the new consoles didn't try to use buzzwords like 4K and 8K on their boxes to set a false expectation. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with 1440p 60fps, I think its great. I just wish that the marketing teams for Sony and Microsoft would be more realistic with their advertised targets. As a PC and Console gamer, I knew the new consoles weren't gong to hit the 4K benchmark considering the hardware it ...
Microsoft has been killing it lately. I can't deny it. I am super stoked to see what Microsoft has to show off at E3. The long drought of games will soon end and we are going to start seeing some competition between the big 3 that are going to get us as consumers some incredible games and consumer friendly decisions on each platform. Keep pushing Microsoft, competition does nothing but push innovation in this industry, and that is exactly what we want as gamers.
Agree with you completely here. I am just addressing what i believe is a bad move from Sony, as a lover of all games, especially retro games, and as a huge Sony fan.
@snookies12 its not fanning flames when its a Sony fan talking about a Sony product and mistakes i believe they are making as a huge fan. I've bought their products since the beginning. I feel its my right to point out when they do something wrong. I am always going to side with consumer friendly decisions regardless of platform and am only upset because I am a fan that expects more.
I can only agree with you Crimson. Sadly enough though, most people on N4G that support Sony, even for wrong moves, won't agree with you and I here.
Sony would be smart to allow this to work on PC as well. Since VR is still such a niche thing, the more units they sell the better so this becomes more mainstream. This would also allow them to potentially get people who haven't joined the Playstation ecosystem, to join for exclusive VR games. I am waiting for the day that VR gets fully figured out, is purely wireless, and has a battery life that lasts longer than 3-4 hours.
I think the reason people were disappointied is because Sony came out strong with their first showing back in September of PS5 games that were really strong. So expectations for anything Sony did next which was this SoP were really high. When you start out with something that strong, people will undoubtedly get their hopes up for any new bit of gameplay shown for PS5 games. It also doesn't help that hype is through the roof for PS5 and all of those hoping to get one, especially after s...
I have never gone into a game session thinking, man i really hope i don't have any fun today. To each their own i suppose. I play games to have fun personally, otherwise it becomes a pointless hobby.
Isn't this the point of games? To have fun?
Common dude everybody without their fanboy shades on knows they didn't do that on purpose. Think about it, same thing happened with Dirt 5 on Series X and Assasins Creed Valhalla for Xbox Series X (Microsoft even having an AC Valhalla deal with Ubisoft). Guess what, it was fixed with a patch. Sometimes human error happens, shit in general happens, it was fixed, no need to get all twisted about it. Unbelievable these days how many conspiracies people spew out daily on here. Can we get...
Personally i think this is a fair review. There isn't enough to do to justify a higher rating. Price per dollar, this definitely plays like a free game and has the amount of content justified by it being free.
This is exactly what we were hoping for as gamers. :)
