Hey @TheRealTedCruz, do you know how you can tell when the expected time is to receive your Steam Deck? I see a bunch of people on here giving exptected times they will receive theirs. IE Q2 2022 etc. How are people finding this information? All I know when I look at my purchase history on Steam is that my transaction went through at 10:04 pst. Am I missing something?
To me this is the closest thing around to how revolutionary Half-Life and Half-Life 2 where on PC. Doesn't quite hit the same nastalgia, but it is very close. Very unique. Another really well done FPS with a similar feel is the newest Prey game, very underrated.
I have multiple PS5's that I actually use. One for my PC setup, one for my living room TV, and one in my gaming room. As it is not easy to secure PS5, if you stay on top of your game and subscribe to the correct discord channels it is possible to get a PS5, you just need to be on top of your game for the drops. Most people aren't willing to put in the effort it takes to secure them, because ngl, it is a pain in the ass still.

And will also continue bringing out more. Look at Ghost of Tsushima losing its "Playstation Only" branding on the front of the case. Uncharted 4 rumored to be coming and likely TLOU2. This is going to happen more and more as time goes on. Soon the only difference between owning a PC and a console will simply be whether or not people want the convenience of a console vs owning a PC you have to upkeep.
@darkborn I am agreeing. I also own a Playstation and have a powerful gaming PC, So everybody has to have one right? No brainer for sure.

I think they just appear to be doing a lot of great things. Until they start delivering those first party games, i am going to hold my breath. I do love some of the moves they have been making, but it sure has taken them a long time. I am very hopeful that Microsoft do better this generation.
@Silly, i completely agree with you. This industry is full of turnover regardless of studio.
I think this tech will truly become more polished extending the life of consoles. For instance, once the Xbox Series X Pro, and PS5 pro come out, likely this tech will be relied on heavily to get games running at decent framerates to keep the older current gen consoles relevant. This will in the more immediate run assist the Xbox Series S to run truly next-gen games at a decent framerate.

This is pretty obvious. Last of Us Factions, this is actually one of my most anticipated games since it has been eons since Sony have made any Online Multiplayer games. I think this is still truly where Sony is lacking, Online Multiplayer experiences, and by this i mean Sony first party games, obviously there are 3rd party Online experiences.
Yeah, i won't deny between my Xbox and PS5, Xbox definitely is more feature rich with things like supporting 1440p for any of those who do actually like to use a PC monitor to play like myself.

I thought it was a good game. Would look incredible on PC. Also - not sure if you knew this, but you have the choice on whether or not you want to buy it. Let us who want it have the chance to play, you certainly don't have to if you don't want to, i can't imagine you being forced at gunpoint to buy it just because it releases on EGS.

You do for PS5 or Xbox. PS5 doesn't use DP, so you are limited to 60hz without HDMI 2.1 @2160p. Warzone does 2160p at 120hz on Xbox at least. Cold War does the same.
I think because of the delay of GOWR and likely a delay into 2022 of HFW, Sony honestly doesn't have much to show at the moment that they already haven't shown. They are filling in their new game realease gaps with Directors Cuts at the moment.
