So i think its pretty obvious he is stating hardware limitations as a problem, and thats just bullshit.

This Xcom is dumbed down because Firaxis chose to make it that way. It has nothing to do with hardware limitations, just game design choices.

N64 handled 3D better than a PS1 but it due to the limitations in cartridges it could handle the same quality of music, sound, and FMV that the PS1 could do - so even though the the N64 was technically better the PS1 appeared better to the buying public due to its flashier video sequences with a banging soundtrack.
Also the PS1 didnt have a stupid looking controller
your right there - Killzone 2 was awesome and Killzone 3 was total shite, so saying Killzone 1 is the average of the series is a fair comment.

It was the best game i have every played, and the worst game i have ever played.
My clan were regulars on Survival mode for a long time but lag switches and glitches started taking the fun out of the game. By the time we quit it wasnt even a game anymore, just people exploiting a system.
It was definitely the best multiplayer experience on the PS3 with its customisation, clan system, and tournament system - which kinda highlights how things have gone backward...
Yeah i had Robotech (spit !) Battlecry and it was really good.
Since then though we have had the Macross PSP games and also the mini Macross games on the Blu-ray Hybrid disks, so i just want a new full Macross game that takes advantage of the current hardware.
I dont have mixed feelings - i pretty much hate this incarnation of Final Fantasy
A full console Macross game.
Im not saying that the game isnt good but IGN gave ODST a 9 and that game was complete turd.
I'll check it out for myself, IGN cant be trusted on any big name franchises coz they always gush over them.
