Probably just not a good game.
Bluepoint have been a dev for hire for various consoles. Although their best work has been done on PS consoles.
Koji is a new studio, and their one game is exclusive on console and available on PC. Even under Sony that probably won't change.
The studios I'm referring to are people like Capcom, and buying a parent company like SquareEnix is not good for the industry.
Even if Sony had the means to, I'm fairly sure they wouldn...
PC games have always been cheaper than console, not excusing te price. I'm also not happy about it.
It's already on PS4 too - this is more for collector's.
Arrekz has a new video up too - looking better and better. I'll be Hammer & Twin Swords - providing the reviews are somewhat positive, fair chunk of change on an unknown game.
I'd like BlusPoint and Kojima under Sony - all the other big companies are heavily invested in multi-plat gaming and it wouldn't be right to chain them to a single platform.
umair_s51 - Sony destroyed ms in profit margins this gen, and next gen will continue that.
ms has to get back $7.5 BN before they even start turning a profit on that ludicrous investment.
Sony has to make back $400mn for Insomniac which they'll do before Christmas.
Same - once that next gen kicks off - it's all in on that. PS5 can't come quick enough.
Is it still running on PC? UBI are renowned for their downgrades, I can't see a new generation suddenly changing things.
They wouldn't give away game breaking items, and the extra souls would only amount to a level or 2, same with the upgrade materials.
But I can see you point, these are games about accomplishment and overcoming the odds.
I'll probably still get the collectors edition though - hopefully physical too.
Then it's not for you, just buy the standard. Easy peasy.
StoneCold - ms feels it can't sell games, it has to put them on gamepass - just so the 'quality' won't be questioned.
My mate got an email last week saying he got one, even though on the day of the preorders he was given no assurance he'd secured one.
I put $200 so I'll be fairly pissed if I missed put, although I'm an optimist so I'm comfortable with how it's playing out.
Awesome - fair bit going on on there. Not long now.
They better go for an adult rating, it couldn't be anything else - could it?
Gamerboi - nope, never been a fan of Bethesda.
Happy to be wrong, I was sure that was idTech though.
I can't believe anyone has a desire to play Bethesda games, mediocre and bug filled comes to mind. Its only been DOOM that has been any good and did it really sell that well?
Then you have the canvas bag, painting the helmet issue - then the debacle that was Fallout76 happened. What do they do? Double down and try to start charging for a yearly subscription.
But I do wish them well - they all deserve each other, could you imagine being at that grubb...
I think id Tech5 would work best on PS5 though. That's the one that 'pioneered' megascans or something like that isn't it?
They got stung and bit back. Built on a philosophy of innovation and value for money. Jumping Flash, Battle Arena Toshinden, Ridge Racer were all fantastic games to release a console with.
I got mine from a local importer who put a MASSIVE mark up on it - the internet was still in its infancy. I paid $1,300 Au and around $160 a game - bare in mind the Aussie dollar was in good shape back then, not so much now.
I lent it to the local EB games as they had ...
