The xbox 360 has been outselling it 2 to 1. Thats since November 2006 up to E3 which just ended. At that point the ps3 had sold 3 million and the 360 had sold 6 million. Remember right before the holiday push.....right after TGS....the 360 had only sold 6 million....then from November to December it had sold 4 million consoles to make the 10 million mark...outselling the Wii during the holiday season....Also MS announced that while the wii had sold a little over 6 million since its launch....
I can't find that news anywhere on the net. Anyone have a link stating this? I know and have read that Target has a deal like that....but I haven't read that Walmart has a simular deal. Any links would be helpful.

P.S. If that is so...thats big for blu ray...only thing is...most people aren't buying blu ray stand alones...and obviously all stores are selling ps3's and hd dvd ad ons.... So that hasn't changed. Who would buy a 500 dollar blu ray ...
In this article he claims that walmart will only sell blu ray players. Anyone have any info on that. I haven't heard that one.

When someone buys a Ps3. There is no way of anyone knowing their intent. You would assume they bought it for video games right?
Though its an added bonus for those who are interested in buying blu ray movies.
But I have to say that I do know quite a few people who have a Ps3 and they bought either the HD dvd add on or a stand alone Hd dvd player.

Consumers want choice. They don't want a couple movie studios....Sony and Disney....Dictating what they buy and telling them whats good for them.
Fox isn't releasing movies and won't until they get a better idea of what consumers want.
SO you have Universal...while yes its the only exclusive movie studio for HD dvd....it just so happens to be the biggest of all movie studios....
What Sony doesn't understand is that "PRICE" is everything....
Nice to officially know what I already knew. PGR 4 will be an outstanding game with No Limitations of disc space. Too many AAA games coming out within the next few months....Not enough Time in my day. WOW
I don't mind if certain games release requiring the Hard drive. And Most gamers who own a 360 have the premium anyway. The only people upset about this are Ps3 owners. 360 owners are just fine with this if it pans out. Core owners would still get to play 99% of the 360 games. But they can always pick up a hard drive if there is a game released that requires it. If that ever happens I would assume MS would lower the price of the 20 gig hard drive. Maybe to coincide with the price cut.

I love this game. I can't get enough of it. It definately deserves the average score of 9 from over 68 review sites and magazines. Good news indeed. Its a beautiful game and 60 fps to boot.
Thats why many developers choose to not put online play standard in Ps3 games.
With the 360 Microsoft maintains the servers. MS knew that would be huge...Sure PC developers run their own servers...but PC new releases are far and few compared to Console games. Making games online for the 360 is a standard and its hassle free when you have MS running the server...and us 360 gamers only pay 20 pennies a day folks. To play just about every 360 game online, lag free, with friends...
Your right buddy. Single moms, soccer moms, casual gamers, all the millions of people employed at Gas stations, walmarts, McDonalds, burger kings, and so on and so on. As a young adult, when your income may only be 800 to 1200 a month depending on the state you live in.....The core for next gen gaming is a blessing to "Jump IN"....and if the price cut is also for the core...thats even closer to the 200 dollar sweet spot.

Motorstorm is on blu ray disc and made by SONY. Why is the game so short and have so little tracks and cars available? lol....

Right now movies look better on HD dvd than Blu ray and you also get to enjoy all the added features like U control and IN movie experience.
