GEARS did great with character development and gameplay, but lacked a fulfilling story. They remembered to put in the "middle" but didn't bother giving us a "beginning" or an "end". Pretty conceted for an IP.

is when this happens,you are unaware, and you try recovering your tag at someone else' console. It won't allow you to fully log on, but it'll let you in just enough so that when you get back to your console, you have to recover your tag on their system that's down... Then it becomes stuck in Limbo. That was the pisser for me... but once I got my tag back I only had trouble browsing thru the Marketplace... could play anything online and be fine.

...like everyone else (that matters) has stated. It's not a shoot em up. Eden Prime was the hardest level for me cuz I had to break outta the shooter-mode. The combat system was strange at first but by about half way thru EP I was good to go... took me half way thru the game to find that cannon for the Maco on the bumper button though. Thresher Maws woulda been way easier if I wouldn't have machine gunned em to death forever.
