I don't think it's a super secret un-announced game we haven't heard of yet BUT RATHER the "secret" was which game, that we've already heard of, is the one that they are playtesting. Or that's how I read the article.
I think it's proly one of the best MP's to date but it has two glaring faults that would definitely ding it down a notch for me...

Microsoft's exclusive GTA4 content was disappointingly scheduled for release in 2009 (which seems a bit too long after release to me).
SO MY GUESS is this statement proly applies to other DLC that TakeTwo is making to go along with both platforms GTA4 release... which might release simultaneously but more likely after the 360 exclusive content. GTA4 is gonna be a huge cash cow for TT, Microsoft, and Sony for a long time and you can bet they'll want to keep money flowing in fro...
dude... I tried and tried but between that (explative) horse that I woulda gladly ground into dog food and the main guy searching for ... the TAINT... among the many many other horrible aspects; I just couldn't do it. IMO TwoWorlds was one of my biggest disappointments of 2007 and one of the worst games of all time.
The first two anonymous posters were crude but completely justified. I haven't read anything useful or ground breaking ever on Surfer G's blog. Seems like it's always falling into one of two categories...
A) ER DUH. WE ALL KNEW THAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN
or
B) RE-HASHED NEWS/RUMORS THAT WERE A FEW MONTHS OLD AND WE'D FORGOTTEN ABOUT EM'
...but most seem to fall under the "DON'T CARE" category..
I'm done... I just can't take this anymore. When I read that they fixed this sh!t, I'll play CoD4 again. But it's too frustrating seeing one thing while alive and then seeing something totally different in your killer's cam. I'm constantly a 1/2 second behind everybody, which totally ruins everything.
i'm tired of unloading on a guy while his back is totally turned only for them to somehow twist around, warp 2-3 ft, then shoot me dead. Kill cam showing me he never had his back turned. Lag in such a deadly game really really really sux.
60gigs would be plenty but I hope they have a SOLD SEPARATELY option because the 20gig HDD's are way too small. After install, I only ended up with 12-13gigs left outta that 20gigs.
And as for besides demos I got tons of the choice arcades, RB and GH DLC, OBLIVION DLC, Maps DLC, backwards compatible info for each old game, coupla Eps of random TV programs... there's really alot on there...
but the major thing is MMO content. If the Conan MMO's any good this ...
..you actually were given 20gigs to use; BUT the software takes the 20gigs down to about 12-13gigs. I'm constantly erasing demos, and what-not to keep space available for new DLC. HD movies are usually too big for the space I have left, FF11 is too big now to download, and when the Conan MMO comes out I'm sure the 20giggers will be way too small. And Microsoft's HDD sold separately is way too overpriced right now. Been waiting for a price-drop on that forever now.
...Good review and I agree with it entirely. I shoulda just held out for RB since I ended up getting it anyway.
I have a few additional gripes I had with the game ~
*My GH3 guitar's neck is loose when "locked in place" so you must constantly apply pressure on the neck pushing it into the body for the green button to work.
*I'm no expert player but I fancied myself pretty good at GH2... GH3's difficulty was increased too much to reall...
WHOOHOO!! More points to go towards a completely BULLSH!!T RANK. True-skill my @$$... If you suck but you're on a winning team and your skill rank goes up how is that skill? Absolutely no incentive to keep playing Halo3 aside from the theater aspect but who cares about that since nobodies gonna see your clip anyway and Bungie's clips are usually lame.
... it was too much for what we got. And then we still don't have a full integration of users yet. Slayer on Forge is broke (lagged) and has been since day one. Tactical games seem to always come up and everyone seems too stupid to know how to defend a flag. I agree the theatre is AMAZING (take note devs this should be in every game now) and the team based tactics are superior (or rather more intuitive for the win) in Halo3 but the TrueSkill crap is just that ... CRAP!!! I do incredible,...
...yet some of these rants (factual or not) are pretty damn entertaining. Wish the mods would just move the ones over to the zone "they belong to" instead of outright deletion.

bought it in a close out sale around Xmas'ish time... he's into that bargain binning tech stuff. Wish I was a skilled a it. Funny thing is he took it down to Mexico loaded with music only to find out he didn't buy the right wall plug-in or something; so he had to recharge it off of someone's laptop usb.
for a great game. Storymode didn't feel as short to me as everyone else but I threw myself up against Veteran. I agree with most of your high scoring yet I woulda docked it for lacking co-op in single player. IMO co-op story-modes should just be "a given" these days.
this game is seriously gonna rock though... the first one was simply amazing despite it basically teasing the story along for us. I know the MP was pretty sick and this go 'round it won't just be tacked on as an after-thought... which I really hope means they'll catch all the glitching that plagued the first Gears.
Delay Unreal III all you want EPIC... I can wait for the good stuff.
YEAH true that. The idibots who jumped on that "360 is getting BR" band-wagon were utter morons. Microsoft would have to be financial mongoloids to try and get us to buy a separate BR drive for the 360 at this point.
... glad Georgie W. is buying me my PS3 this year with his "economic stimulus package" ...that'll be spent on foreign products ;-)
