will definitely be my choice of BluRay players to buy... and it even looks like 08' might just be the year Sony give it's BR player that "games-player" add-in. But it'll still need to come down in price for my wallet.
That's definitely some awesome news if it comes to pass. That was the first mp shooter I remember playing on a console. They definitely pry some points outta me on this one. And then I'll have to force all my buddies to get it too.
... if the title wasn't so old, I'd start getting my hopes up for revamped gameplay and new mp maps... oh but I can dream

I'm very surprised that I've seen very few complaints regarding all the glitched achievements in GH3. Most of the co-op career achievements are only unlocked by the player who created the band. Soooooooo pissed when, after many a lunch break, a buddy and I had gone thru and 5 starr'ed all the songs on easy only to find out we have to do it all again for the other player... same with getting Wizard and Backup achievements.
Well... guess that was a rant. But I'm not sorry ;)
game is a great one. Looks like it's on track to be pretty damn good... no faltering at the finish line now SK, and we'll all be happy.
...you can't get your GamerTag back because Live is down. So there may be some truth to this... but (IMO) it's really more about the people not understanding their consoles. People are proly trying to play their games, having unsuccessfully tried recovering their Tag from Live when it's having issues...and expecting the saves and achievements to carry over. They won't.
When Live is down, sometimes you can't recover your tag. If you try and it doesn't work, your Tag goes int...
That's all this game was to me... horrible horrible cutscenes... cringe worthy voice acting, vacant environments, cookie cutter plot.
I've heard the mp makes it worth it... But my experience was sooo piss poor I just wanted to move on and forget.

it just didn't have any polish. Visually I was just not pleased. There was no detail given to an already mundane office setting. I'm sure the whole game isn't like this (hopefully) and I realy wanted this demo to reverse what I'd heard.
... now, maybe a rental down the road ... I've heard the Mp's innovative and the story sounds interesting, but no buy for me.
