Halo Infinite never got patched for everything so to think they will patch red fall for long time is just over expecting
MS will have arkane move on to their next game within next 6 months
Prey on Xbox 360 and prey from Arkane both are awesome games. Red fall is just a below average game. If redfall was to be best described it’s very MEH
this looks great i think this game will catch many by surprise by how good it will be. I think it's safe to say this would be 90 or above out of 100 type game

Honestly, this is truly sad. This studio made amazing fun games before the acquisition, and now their first game system acquisition stinks just because Microsoft bought studios doesn’t mean they will get to keep talent if their talent isn’t being provided with guidance and resources.

It all started with sea of thieves and than came halo infinite. The big blockbuster games are suffering with game pass and that has to be fixed. Starfield better not launch like this. Microsoft shouldn’t be allowed to buy any more studios until they prove they can manage their talent

I think what you are not taking into account is the fact as you grow older there’s less time for games and so many of these publishers want to make huge live series games
You are right about accessibility options, but what good are those accessibility options when you have games like assassin’s creed odyssey, and Valhalla, which require a lot of XP grind and XP boosters

The one main point you seem to glass over is that MS knew it needed more than halo, gears and forze since end of xbox360. Why are they now trying to start 2 studios from ground and buying more. This isn't a new issue. Last 3 years of xbox360 were really dry compared to playstation and the excuse back than was MS are preparing for xbox one(Next gen) well here we are in 2023 and the still haven't fixed most of the original issues-shortcomings

Agreed 75-100 million for the actual development and whatever else they spend on marketing. Publishers tend to combine both costs into one
GTA5 cost R* total of $250 million for developing and marketing at the time(I am sure they have spent more on marketing since then launching the game for newer consoles and GTA Online)
Sequels are cheaper to make especially yearly releases. COD use to hire celebrities to advertise so I am sure that was costing them
