While I see your point and agree with it too do you also have to understand that not long ago we were getting these things simply by playing the game the way we wanted to
By simply saying nothing, and accepting whatever the greedy publishers, do nothing will ever change.
That is why a company like Ubisoft will go out of their way to make their games more grindy and repetitive so then they can sell us XP boosters in single player games

I will buy the collection even though I have it on PS3/360 simply so I have it on current consoles but I am way more excited for the remake. MGS3 is awesome but the controls for the game are very outdated so is the camera angles when trying to shoot stuff

Do you or anyone get extra pleasure knowing it’s a 1st party game? Seriously we should celebrate great games and as many as possible should be able to play said games. By allowing the purchasing of publishers we are basically limiting the reach of some games
How did we come to this conclusion when we barely saw any gameplay from Sony. So now we are going based on reveal of logos or CGI
Forget dominate I would be happy with some games that show gameplay and starfield to really shine. The last gameplay for starfield looked too bland and generic. We all need to stop setting high expectations

I don’t think will be available in any collection. There must be too much work required & or both Sony and Nintendo have paid for development. In case of MGS4 I really think it needs too much work because kojima took advantage of cell processor and the amount of time and resources required just to make it playable won’t be worth it for Konami (Sony needs to step in and make it happen hopefully)

What most games? You are talking about indie and smaller titles because most AAAA GAMES still have physical release and physical still make up for about 30% of the sales

Also most vast majority of consoles aren’t digital versions that in itself shows you and others there is demand. I buy a lot of digital games but than I also buy many of them physical
I wonder how they would feel if Sony were to acquire capcom because they now have 13+ billion for acquisitions and add few more billion and they could possibly buy both square and capcom

Honestly, speaking, this generation has been such a disappointment first, it was the pandemic and the shortages, and now we have yet to get steady stream of excellent AAA blockbusters from any publisher

Those celebrating Microsoft buying publishers will be the ones bashing Sony when these deals are announced. As gamers we will have less options and no regulators can block Sony after approving a multi trillion dollar company buying on the basis of trying to compete

GTA6 will launch on PS5/XSX in the last year of consoles lifecycle. And than they can remaster the game to launch on next generation hardware
