I own the physical and moving forward anyone who actually cares should try to buy games. I like GP and use it for what it is but with so many games being delisted and licensing issues it's best to own

You best believe Microsoft is done acquiring for a long time there is zero chance of any more acquisitions by them going through. This is also a big test for them because if they go back on their words than future acquisitions are definitely off the table

I am sorry my original comment didn't reflect my point correctly. All the business side of acquisitions and mergers are on hold is what I meant to say. Also games have released yes but when a 69+ billion dollars acquisition is being investigated it's holding back smaller acquisitions

It will go through and we as gamers will be glad it's over. It seems like whole gaming industry has been on hold just because of this deal. After this deal is approved we will start to see ramifications pretty quickly
I think there is a good chance UBI will be acquired next. They are really struggling but do have a lot of valuable IP's
As far as PlayStation is concerned I see them going after japanese publishers (square and Capcom)
Code Veronica Remake is given with how thing have went but it also requires the most amount of work to be remade not only gameplay but story too

I did the opposite and went from PlayStation to Xbox series X (will definitely get a PS5 later this year too)
I feel like with all the acquisitions from Microsoft they will be the best place to place my favorite genre of games (RPG's) but I can't give up on Sony's exclusives (GOW was awesome but I need to play more of them especially my favorite series ratchet and clank)
If it's great why not support the devs and buy the game? I like GP but let's support some of these mid size developers

in general that's how it has happened lately. Launch the game and get good review then add stuff like that later. And as far as post launch support goes we will see too. How many other publishers and developers have promised long support yet in a year or so are done with their games
