$499 will be the price for both next gen consoles. Originally I had thought it would be $399 but with everything going on prices went up and both companies can't take $100-200 loss per console sold

The whole purpose of a next generation console is to have games which are only possible on that console. If you are going to hold yourself back and sport the last generation along with the next generation there is simply no way it developers can truly take advantage of connection hardware

I know you are joking but we are constantly told about the backwards compatibility and how the next generations Xbox can improve game graphically and frame rate wise so I would imagine since Xbox fans like that there would be more than happy with actual full-on remakes to bring the games up to date

We all know Sony will actually show games which are truly next generation and are only possible on next generation. This whole generation Sony has supported PlayStation 4 really well and they are ready to move on but PS4 will still get a lot of support from third parties for the next few years
