Man gaming is turning into slot machine or spin the wheel casinos. Most big publishers aren't happy charging $60-70 and season passes/dlc and they are generating billions in micro transactions
What use to be earned by playing a game or via cheat codes has been turned into stuff you can buy. Resident Evil 2 remake is prime example of that. You can literally by DLC that will unlock all the weapons with unlimited ammo

I don't know about whole year but just saw horizon forbidden west trailer and damn it looks stunning. My only issue with the first game was the long long loading times which I guess improved a bit on PS4 pro so now can't wait to play it on PS5 with next to no loading

Sony will never ever allow gamepass on PlayStation. Just like Ms will never allow anything PlayStation service on Xbox. And we will see how big COD is without PlayStation fan base. Sony will most likely counter so if Xbox gamers are Happy today will they be happy if Capcom and square belong to PlayStation. Totally agree for Ms to make profits they will have to charge $30+ per month and have 20-30 million subscribers. People are so happy to pay $10 now but once Ms have enough studios and content they will be able to dictate how much they are going to charge and a 6 month commitment at $30 per month would be required

Sony have a lot of money to spend and now I believe they will target big publishers. Sony can quite easily spend 20 billion on acquisitions. Sony depends on PlayStation to turn profit while Ms doesn't need Xbox to make huge profit

I believe xbox will pick up steam now that Activision is also their 1st party which is huge because on yearly basis COD sells the most. Hopefully this COD doesn't get yearly release and the quality of the series goes up

For a brand new IP coming from a studio which hadn't done a AAA blockbuster since PS2 days it was a good 8/10

As a gamer not happy about it. Sony will counter now and we are a step closer to gaming monopoly. I was always against buying up big publishers but now Sony should buy up square enix, Sega and Capcom which will cost them combined less than 20 billion and they will have some legendary IP's
Ms will buy UBI I can already see it. They don't want people to own the games and instead want subscribers. Ubi is next mark my words
I don't know how we can say the comeback because even after the acquisitions most of those studios have yet to release any big titles. Could you say it has potential absolutely when you own that many IP's along with that many studios like Microsoft does now there's some real potential to be honest with you
