This is why I will never support digital only. Too many games have license issues and especially music contracts are limited so if he given the choice I will buy physical
Marvel ultimate alliance games are delisted too which were very good games so unless you bought them already or have them on physical there is no way to buy them
These articles usually turn into back and forth arguments about it what's right and what's being guessed
I wish these companies would provide actual data like they use to(Sony still does give official and I think so does Nintendo. Ms use to but now you have to just take a guess)
I still don't understand why this game was not delayed few months. why it launched in between call of duty and battlefield. Because I believe this game was so much better than both and deserves so many more sales
Sure sure high words coming from Nintendo loyalist. A Blu-ray disk can hold more data so in the case of GTA trilogy all data would be on physical disks. And could careless what Nintendo fans think y'all will buy a cardboard box for $60 and call it a innovation

Agreed. I started and after few hours I just wasn't have fun. Game is real, it's beautiful and real piece of art
But:
Long animations
Instead of automatically picking up ammo and money from dead enemies you have to go through 3 to 5 second of animation each and every time to loot a body
It has a broken fast travel system and the only reason it was never fixed is so they can say ...
If only Nintendo were to put a Blu-ray player in the switch and pay the Blu-ray fee so we wouldn't have to worry about stuff like this. Rockstar are not about to use expensive cartridges to put the whole trilogy on there and cut down on their own profit. Why can't Nintendo for once do what's the norm in gaming(Blu-ray disks)
This is Nintendo after all don't you remember not a long time ago this word literal cardboard box for $60 and media members and their Fanboys called it innovation. Nintendo is all about self-hype when they're doing well but when they're doing poor we are told they are not competing with any other platform and instead of doing their own thing like the ring N64, GameCube, wiiu but right now switch is doing well so they're definitely competing with other platforms in winning acc...

So if it's 35 like you're saying doesn't make it right that the service doesn't function right? Or because you are a Nintendo fanboy you are okay with this because instead of costing 50 is costing $35? See how a logical it is for you or for me to accuse others of being fanboys when the basic theory of this whole issue is Nintendo once again are charging premium and providing the bare minimum
That's great I'm glad all three are doing great and are growing especially during this pandemic entertainment industry and video game to be more specific has done quite well. It's in the best interest of gaming industry and gamers that all platforms continue to do well and compete with each other because when there is healthy competition there's usually much better quality of content in video games and more checks and balances
I am hoping that the quality ...

Vast majority of AAA Blockbusters cost under $100 million so I don't know where are you getting your figure of 200 plus million. A lot of people have this misconception GTA v did not cost $250 million to produce that budget included vast sum of money that was spent on advertisement
But I would say 90% of AAA Blockbusters cost well under $100 million. Most AAA Blockbusters are between 40 and 70 million which is still a lot of money
That's good it seems during the pandemic all these video game companies and entertainment in general has done quite well. It will be very interesting to see if there is a fall off of wants things get back to normal and I don't even know what the new normal will be like
Sony needs to announce this as a remaster because so many gamers not just PlayStation but also PC gamers will buy this
I think for a long time Sony's strategy was buy our hardware to play our software. Under Jim Ryan it has changed. But we are long time away from PlayStation exclusives coming to PC day one. Could there be some exceptions especially for multiplayer games yes but most Blockbuster storage driven games will not come to PC day one and instead will take sometimes years to come to PC
Sony's strategy is still not that different they still want people to buy a PlayStation...
If they are going to remake more of them, I much rather they take their time and do it right instead of rushing it or outsourcing the project
RE2 excellent
RE3 rushed and had less content than the original which was short on content to begin with. So how about if these publishers want to remake the games that they actually add some more content instead of removing what's already there(unless removing it makes sense and it's replaced with better q...
I was talking from console gamer point of view. When it comes to PC and mod support that is always a big sticking point because like you said there are some major mode that can remaster the game better than R* will(I said will because R* I don't think will put a lot of resources into this but they can if they really wanted)
If better versions are available why not sell them? So you mean to tell me you don't want to play the games with better graphics, better effects, major gameplay improvements and other quality of life features like GPS navigation (the pre orders are through the roof so R* made the correct decision) gamers had been asking for remasters and now that we got them some want to play older versions
Btw those aren't taken away if you own them physically or even digitally ...
Now it hurts even more to know square could have done justice to marvel game but going for gaas instead of single player game really hurt that game
Marvel ultimate alliance games were so much fun and it sucks that those are no longer available
Having more accessibility options are great and I really hope R* include some more options so everyone can enjoy the games
Exactly most of these big publishers pay six figures but these employees who by the way on top of the salary get bonuses from game sales complain about the fact they actually have to work
When gamers are complaining that games take too long to develop it's because these developers nowadays don't want to work. when you got into development you knew you had to work long hours that was understood but now with the social media and the snowflakes there's no longer a...
Japanese market is more mobile focused so all traditional home consoles will struggle somewhat. Market over there is very different
