They will always bring up BOTW like before that game other open world games on PS2 and Xbox didn't already do most of what it does
As far as Zelda goes BOTW felt barren, the weapon breaking system sucked and that stamina bar took the joy out. Play games to have fun not to feel like it's real world chores

I am a simple man I was shown this and so far this game isn't what the trailer showed. Now I am benefit of the doubt to CD project red because they have been pro gamers but they messed up badly with cyberpunk. 1.5 is the first patch where now we have somewhat of a good foundation so time to build on that and make improvements

But you have to keep in mind even if you have those people who buy PlayStation exclusives not everyone will buy the same exclusive. And you're right I have been saying this for a long time casuals out number Us by a big margin. But they are not as dedicated as us, where as we might buy 10 games in a year they may buy 2-3 and most of them being sports titles or casual titles

I am glad they gave their engine tech to kojima productions and now they are working together and improving that engine to be used not only by them but by other PlayStation studios if needed

This has been said 10 years ago too end of the day the reality is both physical and digital gaming will coexist because there's demand for both. If digital is 60 to 65% do you really think the publishers want to risk giving up 30 to 35% of their revenue
The worst part about digital on consoles is usually you can find physically much cheaper than they are available on digital

Don't play Ubisoft open world games they will make it hard for you to enjoy other great games. Ubisoft games feel so empty with actual interesting/fun quests yet their game maps are filled with icons
This studio has done what most multi billion dollar companies don't do. Look at EA and post mass effect support, look at anthem and it's support, look at marvel avengers

Need is a strong word. PS5 doesn't need gamepass because they have gamers willing to buy games. They generated more than 18 billion dollars compared to 10 for Xbox. 4th console in gaming business Xbox brand is still far behind PlayStation and Nintendo so they had to do something radical

NMS at its peak had like 10-12 developers, vast majority of the game was developed by team of 5-6, they didn't have the budget/other resources compared to Bethesda and CDPR and their studio got flooded which caused them to lose a lot of valuable data
