But I am 100% with you if they delay it and release it when it was absolutely ready I believe this game could have been the biggest launch in history of entertainment. There was so much hype surrounding this. Let's be honest if they cancelled the last generations (OG Xbox one and PS4) and just released on next gen along with PS4 pro and Xbox one x
Their games are such hits and misses it's hard to judge. But I am sure to someone they will be worth acquiring. I doubt either ms or Sony will touch them simply doesn't fit their ecosystem. Way too many loud mouths at P-games

I don't know how far you are but it gets better after initial 5-8 hours. Early on was a drag for me I quit multiple times before giving the game a real chance and loved it

I respect your opinion but many longtime fans bought like a dragon and won't be buying the sequel ( they gave new entry a chance and i am not saying sequel won't sell i wish there way or an option to select the combat style, I know that's a lot of added work but even if they give us the best em up style combat of yakuza 0 or Yakuza 2 remake we would be happy)

Seriously kiryu boring and this new clown is interesting. Kiryu is one of the best developed character in gaming. His story was really fleshed out and most longtime Yakuza fans wanted something like that

People don't realize how strong Spiderman IP is and since Sony owns the movie rights they most likely worked out a deal with Disney
Disney gets to use Spiderman in their Marvel universe while Sony gets Spiderman exclusively. And when Disney saw the quality and sales figure I think they would be more than happy to sign deal for wolverine. A while back there was a rumor Sony and Disney could merge and playstation would have all access to their IP's for gaming

I agree if COD on average is selling 15 million on PlayStation(that's 900 million) that's too much money to pass up. Diablo 4 sells 10 million at $60 meaning 600 million. Ms could make billions by being on PlayStation and they are talking about supporting Nintendo
So yes being exclusive could help them sell few million in hardware but that hardware profit is no where near software

Honestly first 2 were amazing. I really wanted Sony yo bring back David jaffe and have him do his own version of God of war reboot working in different mythology. David and Cory could make sure story made sense but I think God of war is a big enough series where multiple entries at the same time

I think that cross-generation talk does not make sense because when he said it to win those titles became first generation we don't think the development started on afterwards right.
