It's UBI they most likely trying to include some Micro transactions, NFT's and XP boosters into the remake

ok let's not bring up half of billion but let's agree that they had no excuse when it comes to rescources. 343I were built to handle halo and they have failed at it. Honestly speaking MS should have bought bungie because that's the only way this IP will be done right
what's kind of Ironic is the fact now sony has the FPS studios and MS have open world/RPG studios haha
one thing people forget about embracer is the fact tehy don't like funding games with big budgets. to them THQ failed because of this. So the days of AAA budgets for TR and Dues Ex might be behind the IP's. We may get some HD collections and AA future games(in my opinnion that's better vecause neither dues ex or TR should need 60 million budget) if done right both games could do really well

343i have failed and everyone who were defending them and this game for missing key features at launch need to wake up. This game was supposed to launch with Xbox series X/S and they got an extra year with the delay. I mean with more than 5 years and half of billion in budget what were 343i were doing (better question is why did Phil and his team didn't keep of it)

Embracer group has a lot of resources but they don't want to fund big AAA games unless it's a sure thing
They want to manage a strict budget to make sure one or two bad performing games don't hurt the whole company. Basically being responsible with their resources and knowing not all games need 50 million budget and I like this because they will fund AA games too not just AAA

You are missing the point completely. Ms paid 45% above market value for Activision so the market has inflated. Another thing people miss in that 3.6 billion is about half of that is going towards making Bungie even bigger and retaining their current talent core
No doubt in a normal world Bungie would go for under 1 billion and Activision for around 45 billion but this no longer is normal

I am excited but I am also being careful and manage my expectations. Bethesda just haven't learned a lot from fallout 3 and a much better game done by obsidian fallout new Vegas

Yes but we have already seen next gen games work on last gen consoles. So what's stopping the greedy publishers from trying to target a bigger audience

Embracer group would cost upwards of 40+ billion so I don't think that's happening along with the fact embracer group themselves are acquiring talent
They won't sell for more than 10 billion and Sony can afford it. Ms paid more than 40% above market value . As far as WB are concerned so much of their work is working on established IP's owned by DC. So someone buying WB doesn't guarantee DC IP's
Also I think many of you don't understand the difference between company being valued higher and having actual cash in hand for acquisitions

I have nothing but a lot of fun memories from SR2-3 and i really hope this game is a good kixture of over the top and serious instead of just non stop meyham
