I agree with Ezz2013. If I had to choose only one platform, I would choose PC. But I don't feel complete without a Nintendo console.
After I have a PC and the newest Nintendo console, I start to think about buying consoles from the other companies (not from Microsoft).
I still can't believe Xbox 360 sold so well after the 3RL fiasco. They fixed it after a long time, but they refused to admit in the beginning that the problem was real, one third of the consoles were breaking down... Microsoft basically showed that they really didn't care about its consumers. And I don't understand why people supported them.
I'm always surprised when people say that they were expecting DN Forever to be an awesome game because of the development time. I thought it was common knowledge that it went through a development hell, and that's why it took so long. It was not because they spent so many years refining it.
But in what ways the back panel was used until today? I can only remember climbing ropes on Uncharted.
And, as I said, it was too good to be true. It's "only" the start of a new generation: Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
If something is too good to be true, then it isn't.
In Steam I don't think you can buy each episode separately.
@profgerbik
That's the main problem: it's too different from Ragnarok Online. The only RO things in this game are city names, cards and some monsters. It's not a game based on Ragnarok Online, it's a game based on Monster Hunter with too few Ragnarok Online elements.
And if you can't see how much Odyssey tries to be Monster Hunter, either you didn't play any Monster Hunter games before, or you're letting your love to the Ragnarok f...
Try Monster Hunter. But only do it after you finish Ragnarok Odyssey. After you play MH, you will see how RO is flawed.
I try not to compare games, but this game really tries to be Monster Hunter, and it doesn't do a good job at that. The worst thing is that I don't even like MH that much. It's too bad that they only took the worst parts of MH to make this game.
It's a good thing that Persona 4 was released, so we can enjoy one good RPG on Vit...
I don't like neither 7 nor 8, but Squall is way more emo than Cloud. I didn't finish 7, but I didn't think "dude, please just die" to Cloud as much as I thought to Squall. I really wanted Squall to die and Quistis to become the protagonist.
Actually, the only enjoyable characters are Quistis and Laguna, and Irvine is kind of interesting. Squall is a jerk, Zell is annoying, Rinoa is childish, Seifer fails as a rival and can't be taken seriously with that "my dream is to be Edea's knight" or whatever, Selfie is the teenage girl with mental problems.
Oh, and funnily enough, the romantic pair in this game - Squall and Rinoa - is one of the worst in any Final Fantasy and yet it's the only couple...
I agree. On the bright side, Persona 4 is really good. I spent the last days playing it almost non-stop and I didn't finish it yet. In fact, it's the only Vita game I really liked to play. I mean... "Vita" game, because it's actually a PS2 game. But it's great nonetheless.
That's exactly what I wondered. The funny thing is that they say those were racy photos, not pornographic photos. It makes him crying even weirder. Maybe he wants to make a scene to sue GameStop or something like that.
I bought it yesterday. I kind of liked Persona 3 on PSP, so I'm hoping this is the game that will make me glad I bought a Vita.
For now, I can only say that the opening movie is really well done, although it's a little too happy (the characters dance!!!). I prefer the Persona 3 Portable opening.
@cgoodno
As you started complaining about gameplay when we were talking about their relationship, it seems that you didn't like the gameplay and this made you automatically not like the characters.
You try to make it seem that seeing her destroyed village and Trip suffering was not enough to make Monkey start caring for her (emphasis on the word "start"). If it wasn't enough, then... what would it take to make his change of stance about her believabl...
For me, it's one of the most believable couples (even though they don't kiss and whatnot) in videogames. You can see Monkey changing gradually from "I'll only help you because I'll die if you do" to "I'll help you because what you're trying to do is important" and to "I'll help you because you're important to me".
Yeah, sure, not being able to play a game for two days is way worse than lies on the description of a game, false screenshots, selling it unfinished, unfair bans, copying even the name of another game, and now getting the risk of having to change the name of the game. Yeah, it's almost the same thing.
Maybe Resident Evil players just don't want a multiplayer game. Maybe they just want a good survival horror.
Using its money on publicity makes sense. If they objetive is to raise awareness of animal cruelty and whatnot... How else would anyone raise awareness about something?
@Army_of_Darkness
Well, he said "DmC is a very unique title, and I honestly hope that people enjoy it." and he agreed to the guy who said "Glad you feel that way. Ninja Theory is a really talented UK studio and they've treated your game with respect."
