You realize that the term RPG means nothing when Devil May Cry, Dark Souls and Dead Island are considered RPGs...
I was expecting more from The Evil Within.
At least with the latest patch, the PC version doesn't crash anymore.
Geez, the title asked "What Do You Want In The Last Of Us 2?" and I just answered it.
I knew from the moment I read the title that I would find somebody complaining about the "separation of gamers" it would imply.
I want less stealth. I didn't enjoy the gameplay, I just endured it because the plot was worth it.
Dragon's Dogma on PC without the horrible clipping present in the console version would be great. More than once I kept attacking enemies with arrows that didn't hit them because there were scenery items between us that only appeared when I got closer to them.
A better framerate and resolution would also do wonders to the game.
I just want an offline mode for PC. I don't have a great internet connection and the lag of 200~300ms for EVERYTHING is pretty annoying.
Lots and lots of games.
Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, God of War, Uncharted, Halo, Call of Duty, Zelda (all of them except Twilight Princess), Metroid, GTA, Dark Souls, Shadow of the Colossus, Ni No Kuni...
I could spend the rest of the day listing games that people generally like but I really don't.
Every time I hear "Unreal Engine", I think "texture pop-in".
I love remakes, but nobody is doing remakes anymore. Nowadays developers only do remasters. And remasters are terrible.
The Evil Within had a 4GB patch a few days ago. At least it stopped the game from crashing every 20 minutes. In fact, I don't remember the game crashing since the update (although I did encounter a bug that made me restart the game once).
The thing that's keeping me from buying Inquisition (apart from being exclusive to Origin) is the low level cap of the zones. It's the same problem I had with Kingdoms of Amalur, I didn't have any reason to explore too much because really quickly I was past the level cap from most zones, so the enemies got too easy, and doing quests and exploring didn't reward me with enough experience and good items.
I actually like the UC3 images more. Sure, UC4 has more effects, realism and all, but UC3 looks more visually appealing to me.
I wish Evil Within was more like Resident Evil. The supernatural plot and enemies look too much like Silent Hill and the stealth-beased gameplay looks too much like The Last of Us.
I do prefer english voice acting in almost all games, since english is not my native language so even when the dub is not really good, I don't think it's that bad (unless the voice is really annoying like the more "upbeat" girls in JRPGs). But in games that take place in Japan with japanese people, I think it's really strange when they start speaking english. Having played Yakuza 3 and 4, I can't imagine it with english voice acting, for example.
Revelations is the last game I played but didn't even finish it, because since Brotherhood the story wasn't interesting anymore.
"My top 1 game of all time is Ocarina of Time. Would I love a remake, NO, nothing would never be the same as the original!"
Ocarina of Time 3D is even better than the original.
"(ESRB) had listed entries forLimbo for the PlayStation 3 and PC platforms, Playdead confirmed that this was a mistake on ESRB’s part, and that they had no plans for the game on these systems"
Limbo is on Steam......
I came here exactly to comment:
Shouldn't we wait for them to release it before we claim it'll really be a finished product?
Nintendo didn't announce a new console. They just said the obvious: they're planning the next one. Every console maker, as soon as they release a console (or even before), they start working on the next one. Do you think Sony isn't already working on PS5 and Microsoft on Xbox... Two? If you're expecting Nintendo's next console to be released in the next couple of years, you'll be disappointed.
