there is no major problems with the firmware but i use my ps3 a lot at least 2hours a day min, so if something is not normal i can tell straight away. since updating my ps3 to fw2 its not been 100% its been more like 99.5% ok.

i'm a ps3 so called fanboy and i agree with all you say. i loved halflife on the pc, played the halflife2 demo on pc, i like halflife but i think this port is going to be rubbish. it will have frame rate issues, low textures, probalbly limited(thought lag free) on line ie no voice comms.
true but i think the increase is going to be more dramatic from what has gone in the past.
you make it sound like a lot of problems, there is not just a couple of snags that will be smoothed out very soon probably. you get what you paid for that explains the ring of death of the cheap ass 360.
i have had a few minor issues but nothing major, all the problems are software related so new firware update will solve them eventually, at least the hardware is quality...no ring of death here.
yeah, i got my ps2 in the bedroom with the xbox1, i have my wii and ps3 down stairs. both the ps2 and ps3 get used about the same. ps3 has made my pc kinda redundant though. 2008 gonna be sonys make it or break it year.
i predict they are saving up some big stuff for the next e3 with the hope of blowing sony out the water. sony is going to have some real big stuff to show off with ff13, mgs, gt5, lbp kz2 near completion and they probly got a few new first party titles to show off.

i dont have a hd tv just a 32"SD and a really good scart cable, my ps3 games look just sweet to me.
i want g-police and rollcage, they were dam good games.
i remember g-police had gfx option's for framerate, drawdistance and one other thing cant remember. do ya think they will all be maxed out for the download on psn or will it just be a straight copy.

as a ps3 owner i would agree that the game to console ratio is low but the games i do have get updates which make they stay fresh and interesting to me. I'm totally hooked on warhawk which probly stops me buying more game. also I still have a pile of ps2,ps1 and also xbox1 games to play though. i just dont need to buy more games for the system. and with all the games coming out soon, i dont see how i will fit in all the ones i want to play. i find its better to have few quality games versus a...
