There is not much news because there is no news really. Microsoft maybe waiting for E3 to drop some megatons, or they could simply have peaked last year, or they think gta4 on 360 is all the news they need.
My vote would go for E3 goodness.

Why does ms get the credit for the DL future, I remember back in the day sony exec were hinting that the future would be all DL before ms even had a console on the market(think it was phil harrison in a edge magazine interview). With warhawk,gt:p and wipeout,socom to come soon sony is already living the download future.

You wanna access the rsx then simply buy a dev kit from sony.
It was my understanding that when home comes out it will be a firmware update, but with two versions. You will have the option to update with home and the option to just update without home. Also i remember you were going to be able to boot straight into home with out going to the xmb. I would imagine the beta being an application like folding but the final product is going to be fully itegrated into the ps3 firmware.
The 360 got you first as well mart, if ps3 had come out first would you be 'The Mart at PS3king' lol.

the browser works fine for me, i normally use it on the toilet, if i want a better browser i just remote play my ps3 and use the ps3 browser on the psp via remote play.

The best thing about the xbox360 is xbox live, my hope would be that ms stop making hardware and instead focuses on live as a platform in its self. It would be cool if all the next generation of consoles had live on them.
As for ms bringing out a new console early, i think nintendo has changed the console race. They have shown that you dont need super exspensive hardware to be succesful and make a profit. Ms bringing out a new super console so soon would bomb big time and cost ...
