I gave up on critics a long time ago. I like to read the big professional reviews because they are usually very descriptive and give you a nice general idea of what a game is like. This guy has no idea what he is talking about. First of all, the lowest possible score you could give this game is a 9/10. Anything lower and your tastes would be in question. Sorry, but there's no way you could give this game a 68/100 when user reviews put it anywhere from a 9.4-9.5/10 and an S/A+ (S is better than A). You should get Persona 2: Eternal Punishment to complete your PSOne collection (then again, it might be remade for the PSP like the first one is). I have most of the games you have there as well. Haven't got around to playing them yet, but pretty impressive collection overall. Excellent taste.

Do what I do. Forget the big publishers; go small. There a plenty of JRPGs available on PS2 and the handhelds. Matter of fact, Persona 4 is fast becoming my favorite game of all time, replacing its predecessor Persona 3 FES. When the SMT series hits the next-gen(PS3/360/Wii) I expect it to make quite a big splash. For now, stick with those games, and hopefully we can ride this thing out.

Don't comment much, but I have to disagree with Jaffe here. I know it's his opinion and all, but still. I took a two year break from gaming because of the lack of storytelling. I felt the dialogue was, over the top, corny dribble. I thought both Resistance 2 and LittleBigPlanet cleared a million plus sales worldwide. I wouldn't call that a flop. Especially since it has only been a month or two. For comparison's sake, Gears of War 2 sold over three million worldwide. If R2 and LBP are flops, what would you say two million units difference is? Mediocre? No, so stop showing your bias by setting the bar high for PS3 and low for 360.

Well, they should have picked up the Two-Disc Special Edition on Blu-Ray as it comes with a Digital Copy you can either transfer to iTunes or Windows Media Player. Picked my copy up today (one hour ago) for $25. Now I'm going to sit back, relax, and enjoy the Dark Knight in pristine 1080p.
Just curious. How many of you have already picked up the Blu-Ray version? Agree with me if you have or are going to within the week (TODAY!!!), and disagree if you dislike the movie altogether....

Now if only someone came out with this story, I would approve it. I can't believe they would stoop this low. Besides, its not just R2. Its Gears 2 as well. PCAdvisor gave the game a 3.5/5 when GamePro gave it a 5/5. Alarming. I hope someone writes this up.
