Wow 2012, it's been so long. Personally, Flower is still my favorite thatgamecompany title, but Journey is a 10/10 as well. What a beautiful use of cooperative interactivity and such a visually emotional experience.
I really didn't think Xbox was going to ride this train off the cliff but they threw a few more logs in the fire with this XSX launch. What is sad is all those developers who took MS's money. RIP Obsidian, Double Fine, etc. I do hope you have a fighting chance when this new console goes under.
Clearly this game is meant to run on the XSX and all of MS's other family of devices like the Kin and Zune...lol
I want more old-school G4 than the TechTV stuff. G4TV.com the show with Tina Wood, Scot, and Laura Foy was fun. I also loved ICONs and used to stay up late watching Cinematech playing some of the weirdest trailers and gameplay. I think with Max Scoville on IGN, we are one down on X-Play. I also think the Sess isn't what he used to be. Sort of a douche. Tommy and Vic need a return though. Judgement Day was badass. Vic still does EP on YouTube.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Here is a real question. Did you ever learn how to play the Pokémon TCG or did you just happen to collect your favorite Pocket Monster cards and trade them during lunchtime in the schoolyard?"
You damn well know that no one cared to learn how to play the game. Also, not crinkling my holographic Charizard for anything, bud.
Played Pokemon on GB, watched the TV show after school, only collected the cards.
Here VentureBeat, you dropped this 💁♂️/s
Gamepass hasn't put MS in 1st place so points moot.
I feel like Xbox is playing to the lowest common denominator. They look like they are built to run on both Switch and a high end PC. It's a weird way to go nextgen.
I have to say I have some high expectations for Fable and their trailer had a really good tone. Not buying an XSX though. PC only.
Interesting. G4 died forever ago.
HD Potato/10
5/10? Come the f*ck on.
I didn't expect a dumpster fire.
I wasn't expecting a game that looked like a Switch port. Infinite looks terrible.
Yes, this look like a 4K potato. Probably the ugliest looking Halo game in a decade. I cannot even understand why anyone would find this acceptable to show off. This is their big guns and it looked terrible.
The new Halo looks like a 360 port. That is not nexgen, it's barely current gen.
Gameplay + No window + Optimized for XSX really makes me wonder what the hell MS's vision is.
TLOU: Part II will probably sweep up everything that isn't going to some weird indie title since these awards discriminate against anyone who isn't considered LQBTQ+. I wonder if a game like TLOU Part 2 could win a CISGENDER award based on the merits of its quality and not based on its virtue within social identity politics.... ohhhh wait... TLOU 1 won over 195 awards.
Load screens are the least of what this tech is for. It's about minimizing the need for asset replication. It's about creating dynamic gameplay and fluidity. Nothing prevents developers from putting in interactive or interesting pauses between scenes. We just won't have to have load screens anymore. I just expect shorter elevator rides.
Apparently DLC drops too. Definitive edition?
