I get annoyed by the Ubisoft comparisons when shitting on PS4 games. Horizon Zero Dawn received the same criticism. Completely unjustified and such a copout for lazy journalism. In the next year Metro will be licking BOTW2's berries with praise. Hypocrites.
This is really cool. Colin's success is directly attributed to his consistency in the industry. He made IGN great. He founded Kinda Funny. He now has CLS with amazing shows like Knockback and the #1 gaming and #1 Playstation podcast Sacred Symbols. One of games media's largest asset. hope they develop a Metroidvania.
I platinum'd Days Gone. End of Year review said it took 95 hours. Absolutely a phenomenal world to explore. 10/10 in everything except 7ish on the Unreal Engine issues. Still a 9 in my book and a must buy for PS4. What an amazing experience. I really believe Bend will knock the sequel out of the park.
I hope they give this IP to another studio. The Order 1886 needs its Uncharted 2-level sequel. Too much-wasted potential if they drop that world off forever.
I think TLOUS was a ton of fun. It was just really really stressful and emotionally exhausting. When I think unfun in a game, I think of a game that is designed to be enjoyable by design (like many parts in Edith Finch or some cruel parts of DETROIT/HEAVY RAIN).
