Well said. Though I don't quite agree with your argument. I think its fair to judge the xbone as a success at this point. Its sold a bunch and made MS money.
The problem the xbone has is the power gap. people hear that the ps4 is more powerful and it doesn't mean anything. But we're gonna keep seeing multiplats that are better on the ps4 (many devs think the gap will actually widen in the coming years). I think that people still on the fence are going to look...
I would buy a PC if I needed the hardware to evolve over time.
You're a football?
This is what I was thinking. Doubt it will be ready to go by the superbowl
I don't see how that would be possible. We don't know anything about it yet.
What do you think that the ps4 cant handle?
Player count?
Graphics?
The amazing AI?
.....Think about that for a second
I haven't played either (ps4 guy), but I could see how someone could be disapointed with the direction Forza took (gimped economy/microtransactions). Yes I know they addressed these issues.
Dead Rising has always struck me as a series that you either enjoy or you don't. If you liked 1 and 2 you'll prolly like 3, if you didn't you wont. So I don't see how thats disappointing.
KI is supposed to be good too right?
I didn't play it, but it sounds like it should be on the list. It certainly didn't live up to the hype
But disappointing could mean that it didn't live up to they hype created by the previous entry. It doesn't mean that its bad
I was with this guy until I got to #1. I'm a ps4 guy, and I guess I didn't play any 360 exclusives last year, but I think its pretty unfair to characterize all of their games as disappointing.
The 360 version is very interesting to me. MS needs it to sell well to make any money on this game, yet we have heard absolutely nothing about it. I might consider getting the 360 version myself if its decent....though I'm not convinced it's going to be worth getting gold again just to play it. What's the shortest duration of gold you can get anyway?
The long term impact of these practices should concern you as a gamer.
Lets take an extreme hypothetical:
MS pays IGN to write a positive review for fighter within. This encourages casuals to buy the game. Suddenly MS has a choice to make for future games. Should they buy off reviews, which sells games and makes them money; Or do they invest that money and make great games, which might sell?
Sweeping problems under the rug and present...
I agree that DR may have been a 360 game that was converted to xbone, and then rushed for launch....but I don't see how this is evidence of that. We don't even know what it does.
Your comments on Titanfall are either ignorant or just plain stupid. And I'm a ps4 guy BTW. Please stop making us look like stupid a-holes
Dunno why you would want to pay for it if you don't have to. I think that you can buy it if you don't have ps+. To be honest, I would gladly pay (prolly up to $15-$20) for Dead Nation 2 or Resogun if I didn't get it for free
Finally! Footage from somebody that has some idea of how to play a FPS.
Typical xboner (kidding). It has been out for like two months, of course there aren't 100 games for it yet. Furthermore, we knew exactly what the launch games were going to be like.
Why don't you get a life? Maybe you wouldn't be so bent out of shape about missing out on an alpha if you had something else to do.
I don't understand why the AI take up so many resources. Didn't Gears horde mode and Halos (dont remember the name: waves of enemies) have AI? Isn't this pretty much the same thing?
I'm not sure why you are getting disagrees. They have said that they are trying to make this game accessible. If the AI shown here is indeed representative of the final build, it seems pretty clear they were put in for the reasons you stated.
do you mean modes, as in matches? They have stated that there are no mods (for the pc version) at launch.
Congrats. Resogun is great fun and an easy platinum
