Love it or hate it Call of Duty will always sell a lot. They ARE quality titles believe it or not.

MW3 will also sell 20million+ by this time next year.(all consoles combined)

Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk were both niche/new genres. They only "died" when EA flooded the market with their clones(Skate, Rock Band).
So if Call of Duty ever "dies" it will take Battlefield with it. But that's not going to happen. People will always love FPS games. They've been around forever. There's tons of COD clones on the market and COD still continues to sell 20million+.

Activision can't keep supporint COD4/MW2/WaW/Black OPs/MW3 at the same time. Sure they can keep the servers up and running but the hacks and stuff isn't their problem. PEOPLE ACTUALLY COMPLAIN ABOUT PATCHES. So yeah it makes sense for older games to get less and less support over time especially a new COD game comes out each year.
Why would you want to keep playing a 3-year old COD game anyway? Time to upgrade dude. Everyone else did!

Battlefield 3 has auto-aim on consoles too.

The game is complete out of the box. DLC is completely optional.
We don't want them to change the mechanics there's nothing wrong with them. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
