Actually that sort of thing is pretty common in game development. Happens a LOT at Rockstar Games, where working there literally becomes your entire life. Lots of ex-employees complain about it.

Killzone 1 was such a technically advanced game. Still looks good to this day. It was very evident that the PS2 hardware couldn't totally handle the game as optimally as GG wanted it to.

This series is one of the best IP's Sega has and it's ridiculous they keep up with this silly xenophobic attitude of hiding their games away from anyone who isn't lucky enough to reside on the same shores as they do. They can learn a lot from Capcom, at least Capcom admitted they can easily bring any title to foreigners by making them digital downloads at least.

GTA IV *WAS* overhyped when it came out. The game is far from flawless. But it's still better than GTA V as a whole.

Honestly GTA IV shits all over GTA V. The only way GTA V was noticeably superior to GTA IV was in graphics, and that's a technical thing. I had a better time with Saints Row 3 & 4 than I did with V.

I love how BF3 had a server browser on console, but this doesn't. And DICE had the bright idea of making the BF3 server browser on PC only accessible via an external web browser! What were they thinking?!
I guess these modern-day devs think all gamers are too stupid to use a simple server browser. I played tons of PS2 games that had them, it was a legit shock to see them almost got extinct in the 7th gen.
