You are beyond deluded.
Lmao!!! I love the show, but that's a very accurate representation of the show. :,D
New engine: New visuals, same gameplay.
New game comes out, people suddenly praise the engine, then the next game gets announced and people talk about how the engine is already stale and how broken the game is.
Rinse, repeat...
Yeah DDR4 hasn't even been released yet. It'll be ages before we see DDR5 system memory.
There's always gotta be that one guy who has to play Devil's Advocate and hate on shit for no reason.
I'm not denying they offer better performance. But my point is that higher-end AMD solutions can get you the same performance, suitable anyway, for just about anything. There's no game out today that an AMD CPU will bottleneck. And really, not many games are even CPU intensive in the first place. The GPU is responsible for most of the harder work.
Ialso don't think people with a 2nd or 3rd gen i5 or i7 should upgrade. Only if they have a 1st gen will they see a hu...
Benchmarks aren't the end all be all of CPU performance. Everyone that I know that has a modern AMD CPU maxes their games out with no problem. I've done gaming, audio and video production with AMD chips for many years and never had any issues. Honestly don't see why people are fanboys when it comes to tech like this...
The joke

I love PC gaming as much as the next guy or gal, but jeez, cut the sensationalist nonsense, 'kay?
The PC version of a game isn't always necessarily better than it's console brethren. Hell, look at the terrible port of Darksiders 2 on the PC recently. 007 Legends was another cash-in lazy port job on PC. Dark Souls was another one. And this is nothing new, it's been happening for ages.
And really, people don't play CoD for the graphics, th...
@Larry L
I haven't logged in here in ages and I just decided to login JUST to tell you that you win the internets for that post. I agree with everything you just said 1000%.
KZ1 is easily the most difficulty console-exclusive FPS ever created. The game didn't hold your hand at all. No aim-assist, no auto-aim, none of that crap. You had to learn how to aim and learn the eccentricities with each of the weapons in order to be good. The campaign was diffi...
Yeah, so annoying, I know right?
Just maybe three or four updates a year, some of which are completely optional, and only take a few minutes to complete... Such an inconvenience, I think I'll sell my system now that you brought it up.
/sarcasm
I wouldn't mind an HD trilogy at all. As long as they did a PC release as well! Wouldn't have to worry about the servers getting taken down, like they did with TS FP back in the day, and the mapmaker potential would be huge as well.
I don't care if the next game is digital or physical, I need more TimeSplitters in my life. A few friends and I just got through playing some TimeSplitters maps in Counter-Strike Source earlier, Mexican Mansion, Compound, and the Chinese map...
Make it happen, guys!
Exactly. It must suck to be a fanboy. Whatever happened to just *enjoying* games for being, y'know, games?
Not really. Yeah, it was funny and "shocking" at first, but that stuff wears off really quickly and gets stale. SR2's plot, for example, was much better than SR3's. They even had the balls to kill off the FACE of SR in the first mission of the game!
Overall, SR2 was a much better game. I had fun with SR3, but if it's any indication where the series is headed, oh well. I'll play SR4 and end up taking it back a week later.
I don't remember any bitch slapping, but that was ages ago. His reviews are hella funny but also informative, and pretty entertaining to watch in general.
>Announce GTA game for Vita
>Vita sales suddenly skyrocket
It'd only be good for business. They did three GTA games on the PSP, and one on the DS. Hell, they even did one on the GBA back in the day. A GTA game WILL come to the Vita at some point.
Usually I don't like gold colors (more of a silver, chrome, platinum guy myself), but this does look pretty nice. I'd snatch one of these up, perhaps.
Seems there literally won't be any surprises at E3 since everything EVER is getting revealed before the show even starts, lol.
I use AMD myself, but even the 2nd Gen Intel I chips are putting up great performance to this day. If you already have one of those or an Ivy bridge, you don't *need* to upgrade. Hardware doesn't just Go extinct just because a newer part comes out.
