Yeah, the Never Settle thing is brilliant marketing. You buy a decent or high-tier GPU and get over $100 worth of free games. How can you beat that?

Heavy Rain was cool the first time I guess, but it was literally an interactive movie. Cage sounds stuck up here, lol.

I already know who the Helghast really are -- I and others knew this way back in 05 lol. They're technically not even the "bad" guys, since the ISA were the ones who not only expelled them from Earth/Vekta and sent them to Helghan, but also decided to block trade with them as well, leaving them alone on the harsh planet. So you can obviously sympathize with them and see why they're so pissed.

I loved how the health bars changed dynamically, as well as the music, to the appropriate time periods during that battle. That was probably the most well-done scene in that game.

I've been on PC for years and trust me, there's still a lot of kids there too. Not nearly as much, but still a lot.
I've been using AMD cpu's for ages now, never had any problems maxing my games out. People place far too much importance on CPU requirements for modern gaming anyway. Most games are GPU bound. People with Phenom II's are still gaming just fine lol, dunno what all the doomsday comments across the web are on about.
Intel has better performance but they also have a fuckload higher R&D budget as well.

Sounds nice but it'll probably be in development for a year or so and then silently die as people lose motivation and people leave. That's how 98% of these ambitious mods end up, I've seen it too many times.

Actually even MGS1 isn't a PS exclusive. It came out on PC as well.
New engine doesn't mean new gameplay. Why would they change their formula? People keep giving them money for selling overpriced expansion packs, so the gameplay will be the same.
"New" weapons which perform just like the old ones, "new" unbalanced/overpowered killstreaks because you can never have enough of those, etc. Get real. New engine just means slightly better visuals, which means nothing when it comes down to it.
The moment I saw "supposedly" and Kotaku, the article lost all credibility for me.
