Thats entertainment.
I love audio logs as a method of passive story telling. I wish Doom had them. I hate stopping to read.
I'm surprised they can make a game like this on such a tiny budget. Looks like its gonna be f****ing awesome, though.
This damn thing wouldn't download until I freed up around 45 gigs. Couldn't be that big.
Tekken Force mode from T3 was awesome, especially with the couch co-op. This was a game mode that deserved its own game. It was a great evolution of the 90s era capcom co-op beat em ups. Unfortunately, what we got from TF mode in T6 wasn't all that.
Been hearing about monster hunter from friends for a long time. I actually had a 3ds for a little while but I was so disappointed with the characters and story of Bravely Default and the play controls for Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy (the 2 games I bought the system for) that I ended just selling it a few months later. Oh well...
@MyDietEqualsGames
Its a digital whore house.
I wouldn't say it was casual. It definitely went off the map with the open world busy work and the story. GZs was awesome. I can sympathize though. What this industry has been doing to truly classic franchises for years is heart breaking. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon & Twisted Metal comes to mind.
It has some phenomenal gameplay, best I've seen in a stealth game, it just gets dragged down by the typical open world busy work shtick. Had it been like 10-20 areas like GZs, it would have been the best stealth game ever. One thing I gotta say about GZs vs TPP is that it was a lot more fun having to get the extraction targets to the pick up zones as opposed to just using the Fulton on them. You should play MGS3 & the original MG2 if you haven't. Next to MGS (minus that BS fistfig...
Man, I gotta beat FM3. Started a game twice and never finished. But based on what I played it needs to come back in all its turn based glory. I wish they would remaster FM5 and bring it west.
I know my favorite is Final Fantasy 9.
If the battle system had dynamic options from FFXI like the sneak attack/trick attack combo, it would be a much better game. As it is, it feels too much like WoW to me.
I hated turn based systems before this game, after it I couldn't get enough of them.
It has enough under the hood to justify the price, IMO. I just finished my first run last night.
It says something about a person if they need hype to play a game, like maybe they need a new hobby. Besides, unless you own an xbone, its not a year old... its not even out yet.
I'm just not one of those people who can be easily persuaded by misleading demos and loaded buzzwords like "change". I've been watching these guys f*** it up for years. I see no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt now, especially if they insist on keeping such a tight lid on everything only a few months away from launch. Kojima got away with being all cryptic cause he had a lot of good faith with the fan base. People had a good reason to believe that he was going to...
Thats fine. I'm still not ready to buy this crap.
Sega has a terrible track where its non-traditional Sonic games are concerned.
We're getting there but not quite. When they make a game like this thats on the level of or better than FFIX, we will have gotten there.
I love that second mission. It gets so intense. This is why I've played video games since 1983.
